TMobile home internet - change password
I evidently changed/forgot our password for the home internet. Just bought two new laptops and need to set up on the home internet. How do I find out what the current password is? or how do I change it so I can connect the new laptops?

Good luck! I’m baffled as to why the passwords suddenly no longer work.

@tomwil I have a similar problem. The app no longer accepts my password, which I have not changed since I first set up my home internet. My TV, which was working fine on TMobile, suddenly disconnected and asks for the password to reconnect, BUT no longer accepts WHAT WORKED BEFORE! All other devices are still connected and work just fine.

OK, here's where I am today. I reset my password by clicking on "Forgot Password" in the Internet App, and using the default Admin password found on my router. This finally got me into the app, and I can see all of my connected devices. My Samsung TV is listed as "disconnected". On the TV itself, in settings, I can see and select the TMobile internet, but it still will not accept the password! I am STUMPED!
HAPPY UPDATE!!!😄😅🤓
I created a second network, using 5GHz, instead of automatic, and my TV connected to it without hesitation! I left all other devices to autoconnect to the original network. Voila!

There are two passwords involved with the T-Mobile gateways, the Administrator password, and the WiFi password.
If you have access to the administration portion of the T-Mobile Home Internet app by using the Administrator password, you can view your current WiFi password that is used to connect your devices to your gateway.
If not, you may have to reset your gateway to factory defaults, so that the Administrator and WiFi passwords are the ones printed on the gateway itself.

I went to the app, and it automatically logs me in. I log out, and then click on log in again. There is no forgot password button. I am beyond frustrated.

Had a similar situation a couple of times, where I lost access to the gateway, both administratively and connectivity. Current devices were still connected and operated fine, but any devices that were new or disconnected could not be reconnected.
The solution that worked for me was not a reset, but a simple reboot of the gateway. The reboot had to be done physically at the gateway, since I had no access through the app. This restored the passwords I had set previously.
Not sure if a reboot would solve your situation, but would be the first thing to try before considering a factory reset.

@tomwil This makes sense to me: "The solution that worked for me was not a reset, but a simple reboot of the gateway. The reboot had to be done physically at the gateway, since I had no access through the app. This restored the passwords I had set previously."
Now, please tell me HOW. Step by step, please...I am not tech savvy. Tell me like I'm your grandmother.😅🙄🤔 ...and did your other devices disconnect/automatically reconnect after the reboot?
