Unable to access usbank.com

For several weeks now I have not been able to get to my bank's website via T-mobile home internet. I get the following page :

The only way to get to that site is if I turn off wifi on my phone, OR if I go to the home of a friend who has Xfinity or Verizon internet! T-mobile is, of course, absolutely no help. They have one, and only one, response, which is to move my gateway device to another window.I'm sitting next to my gateway which is line-of-sight with the tower. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking my only option, since I don't like doing financial stuff on my iPhone, is to switch providers.

  • I'm having the exact same issue. I called customer service and, of course, they were terrible but finally did say they were aware of the problem but didnt have a fix yet. I use Edge on my laptop but downloaded Firefox and no help. I used to be able to turn the wifi off on my phone and use mobile data hot spot and be able to log on. That stopped working a few days ago but I was still able to turn off my wifi and use the USBank app on my phone. Now, that has stopped working too.

I am also having this exact issue. Did anyone figure out a fix?

  • Wow! I never had this problem until 4 days ago and now I can't access anything on my work computer if using my TMobile Home Internet. This is ridiculous!!! Anyone finds out what to do?

What was the fix to this?   I have similar issue with my university's library website (library.alliant.edu).  I can't access it on my t-mobile wifi nor cellular connection.   I have to wait until I'm on another wifi to access.  Please help....else I'm gonna have to let it go

  • for several weeks or has this been an issue since you started with TMO home net?

I've used the latest builds of Chrome on  3 different platforms (all with the latest OS builds) and the latest build of Safari on MacOS and iOS. Your solution would not explain why the site comes up just fine on my browsers as long as I don't go through T-Mobile home internet. No, I think we've (meaning myself and US Bank's level three support) pretty well narrowed this down to T-Mobile Home Internet and T-Mobile does not care to troubleshoot it from their end.

I worked in internet security for much of my career and if they were interested I could tell them that someone probably spoofed my IP address or possible the DNS server, attempting to hack into US Bank and T-Mobile’s IT used the Q and D fix of blocking my address.

ETA that I’ve been with T-Mobile since it became available in my area years ago and this problem is only two weeks old.

@MollyT I would try using a different browser (Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
