Cannot get an older PC to connect by LAN to Sagemcom Gateway
Hi, I have an older Intel PC that I cannot get internet to from my home 5G gateway. I have checked the drivers on the PC and update the gateway when necessary. I have a known good tested CAT6 ethernet cable and have tried everything I can think of. I know both the LAN ports on the gateway work, and I know the LAN port on the back of the PC works so I'm just assuming that there is a compatibility issue that I'm unaware of with older PCs. I would like to know if anyone has suggestions on how to get ethernet from my gateway to this computer or if anyone would know what the problem would be. I am getting internet to it using an external USB WiFicard but the speed isn't great and would like to use ethernet.
