iphone 12
6 TopicsUnable to receive MMS messages from a short code
I have an iPhone12. I used to have Sprint as my carrier but now T-Mobile. The chat bot feature is not helpful either because it prompts me to sign in and then when I put in my username it kicks me over to an old Sprint help page. I have been unable to receive MMS messages from a short code I am opted in to for about 2 weeks. I have tried reseting my network settings, I know that I have enough data to receive larger images/gifs and messages, I have tried shutting down my phone and turning it back on. The weird thing isI am still able to receive shorter form, SMS messages from this number, just not MMS and I know thatother people with different carriers are able to receive these MMS still. Any advice is welcome.480Visto0likes4ComentariosEsim with existing and active phone number
Dear All, I am a registered T-Mobile customer with valid phone number in the US. I am using the US sim card when travel to the United States, but this time,I want to activate esim keepingthe existing US phone number. Is this officially possible to activate esim with current phone number? I download the "prepaid esim" app but it looks the esim feature is dedicated ONLY for new customers. What is more, is it possible to roll back esim to the standard one or it is only one time switch so my old simcard won't be active anymore? Lookingforward to hearing the answer from you. Appreciate your help. Los mejores deseos,344Visto0likes1ComentarioPostpaid iPhone 12 - converting physical sim to eSim
I've been a postpaid customer for over 10 years. I'm currently using my iPhone 12 with a physical sim card. Whenever I travel internationally, I remove my t-mobile sim, and insert the local sim in the country I'm traveling for local use until I return back to US. I understand that iPhone 12 can support both physical and eSim. My question is: How do I move my current physical sim from T-Mobile to eSim so I can keep the sim slot free for using when I travel internationally? The menu 'Settings→Cellular' doesn't show the transfer to eSim option. GraciasSolved233Visto0likes1ComentarioAnyone having issues with cell reception on iphone 12?
For the past 2 months, my iphone 12 and my wife's 12 pro max are having cellular reception issue. When not in use, I would have no bars and will regularly miss calls and text. When open my phone dial any number like 611….the bars sometimes magically appears. This seems to happen everywhere I go, so it's not limited to any specific location in the city. This would suggest it's an issue with my phone….specifcally, with the iphone 12, since my others phones (iphone 6 and 7) appears toworks fine. Reading online….I discovered that many iphone 12 users are having similar issues. Just wondering if anyone else in the tmobile community is experience this issue as well. I also called Tmobile for help...but they were not able to resolve my issue. They said they would call me back in a week….but it either did not happen or I missed their call because of this mysterious cell reception issue.1.1KViews1like2ComentariosiPhone 12 Not Activating??
Hi! I just recently upgraded to the iPhone 12 from an S20 FE 5G... but I've ran into a HUGE roadblock! No matter how many sim cards we try, or phones, my phone will not activate! Any calls I try to make direct me to 611. I cannot receive calls either. Can't get texts either, or send them even through iMessage. I have absolutely no data either. Has anyone else had this issue with the iPhone 12 and gotten past it?? Tech Support isn't even sure what's going on because my sim says its active. My IMEI isn't blocked. None of that. Are there any ways to even fix this on your own? We've drawn it down to the fact that it's NOT the phone, or the sim card. Its something to do with my service. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!!981Visto0likes6Comentarios
