How does the battery backup option work on the High Speed Home Internet NOK 5G21 Gateway device. When the device gets unplugged or losses power, the device configures to battery operation, then the WiFi is disabled. I also tried using Ethernet. Neither connection method works. In the manual it says "During battery operation, neither Wi-Fi nor Ethernet connections are supported." What is the use to have battery backup if WiFi nor Ethernet connections are supported? How can I use the device during battery operation?22KViews8likes43ComentariosNintendo Switch w/NOK 5G21 Gateway
I was thrilled to change from my previous provider to T-Mobile's internet. The speed is great. The service has been super reliable. Where I'm having trouble is on my Nintendo Switch. I can't getvisitors on my island on Animal Crossing. I can't race against friends on Mario Kart. Virtually all online gaming functionality is useless. And I'm frustrated I haven't been able to find a solution. I called support and they basically said there's nothing they can do. Has anyone found any solution to this?!16KViews6likes29ComentariosAirPrint with T-Mobile home internet Nokia 5G21 gateway
So I just set up the Nokia gateway and, for the most part, it works great for my needs. I love that it is $25 less per month than I was paying Spectrum (the only other real option for me in my area) for faster speeds. The only issue I've run into is that, while I can connect my Brother MFC-L2710DW printer to the gateway, I am unable to get any of my Apple devices to "see" it as an AirPrint option. I currently have it connected to my old Netgear access point to be able to use it which works but I would like to not have to switch networks in order to print from my iPhone or iPad. The UI for the gateway is super dumbed-down and I cannot find any editable security settings that could be causing the issue. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and discovered a workaround?Solved3.5KViews1like16ComentariosCell phone signal into basment home
My TMoblile gateway is a NOK 5G21. Knowing I do not get any cell signal in my house I installed a Cell Phone Signal Booster from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BV65DLX1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I have it wired into my basement home (actually have dirt and concrete roof). It sends a signal into my home. My US Cellular cell phone works in all my rooms. And is about equal inside using signal booster and outside with speed tests. My TMobile gateway works. But when I take my Gateway out onto my roof, it has a much faster down and upload speed than when it is inside using my signal booster? Can anyone help me figure out why my TMobile Gateway is slower inside connected to the booster than outside? Thanks, JimSolved355Visto0likes2Comentarios
