MY phone screen cracked and it's going to be a week or 2 before I can replace it. I was wondering if there was a way to forward my text to my email or a different device and my phone calls to my work cell. Any way to do this? Thanks.Solved31KViews0likes11ComentariosSuspicious texts that claim to be from T-Mobile?
I've been a customer for several years. Lately I've been receiving increasingly frequent texts that claim to be from T-Mobile. They aren't coming on Tuesdays. How can I tell if they're legitimate? Here's a copy of a recent one. Hi We have a Samsung A32 5g (pervious issued phone was an A22) and anGalaxy S21 Ultra 5G. T-Mobile Corporate (CS) sent us to the store to get (free) new sim cards due to an ongoing issue with our phones due to the INABILITY to send and receive on time text messages since before Aug 2021,(when I had an A22) This is only with text messages. This happens when I have a good signal and a Wi-Fi connection in my house, but it has also happened when I'm out and have only cell signal with GREAT SIGNAL. We have tried it with other carriers with people, and it still doesn't work all the time. The usual phone troubleshooting steps (quitting the Messages application, restartingthe phones, hard resets, brand new phones, even different messaging apps) do absolutely nothing. I should add FaceBook messenger works, but meh. We checked the activity logs in ourT-Mobile account, and the read, delivered, and sent, in the APP it self. which doesn't always work. It's been confirmed many times now thatT-Mobilesees the delays and missed messages. To fix this problem we got a free sim card at the store. (we have done all the technical work with T-Mobile Tech Support at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier Levels, AND having them E-mail the Engineers 2 times.) Which we NEVER received any information back about. In fact they closed the trouble ticket and marked it as resolved! I had to ask about it.We are 16+ year customers and I am no longer recommending T-Mobile to our friends and Family. UNFORTUNATLEY for them, T-Mobile'sCorporate Store tried to give him 3 different sim cards and after THEM calling corporate, it got the PHONE basically bricked, and unusable after TRYING too many times. Got him Flagged by the FRAUD DEPARTMENT. Told him he would have to wait an hour for it to come back to working. FOUR HOURS LATER, it's not working still. So on call to the Call to CS. SoIwas on the phone with then for 1 hour and 56 mins to tell me the FRAUD department does ONLY emails and it wouldtake 24-48 hours for them to get a response, for them to call me and TRUST that them after everything. There is no number and no transfer ability for customers or CS to call them. So no phone for 24-48 hours? After we have been taking our time patience, and gasoline to fix this issue. This is a Corporate Store that LET him leave the store without fixing their mistake. I will be filing a report on the store with T-Mobile, Because you let a customer leave without fixing his problem and making it worse. This should have been simple. I should also mention he went back and forth to the store TWICE to resolve this issue. starting at 10am, on 3/19/22. We do not feel we where given the attention, dedication, and service that we deserve as customers, let alone people. This may end up with us ending our history with T-Mobile as Customers. 16 years of loyalty to end up this way.5.1KViews4likes8ComentariosOut going texts
I was looking at my phone logs and noticed a number on my husband's log that I did not recognize. No big deal, but I thought it odd that only pics were sent and they were always outgoing only. Then I noticed that the same number showed on my log as out going pictures only. Never incoming on either log. I did not send that messages. They do not show up in my droid.I went back and found that the number first shows up on hubby's phone in Oct 1, 2021. and mine later in Oct. And he has many more interactions with this number on his log than I do. I called the number and got the message that the subscriber is not taking calls at this time. Text messages from my security service are not getting to me. Neither are text messages that I send from my own email address (tcgb.greg@gmail.com) to MyPhone#@tmomail.net This is what my security service sent me…. It seems T-Mobile has started to use the CloudMark anti-spam messaging service and since then Eyezon's email-to-SMS messages have either been blocked or at least throttled. This is not a global block by CloudMark as other carriers use them and our alerts go through. It has been explained to us that each carrier has its own "whitelist" so it is up to T-Mobile to request that CloudMark stop blocking our customer's messages. If you wish to complain to them explain that your security provider uses their email-to-SMS gateway to send alerts to you and while the messages are accepted by T-Mobile, they aren't delivered due to the CloudMark block. Request that messages fromconnect2go.combe whitelisted at CloudMark.112Visto0likes0ComentariosStop SMS on my Gateway FAST 5688W
I am getting via the device SMS spam and I am surephishing, as well as unwanted marketing messages. It is very annoying especially because nearly every message takes two pages. So deleting is quite a chore, there is no way to delete all at once. I have called tech support and they told me they can stop marketing and spam messages. It did stop, for a day. So I do not think T-Mobile can stop or totally stop SMS messages they way they have it now. So why do we need SMS messages on our device anyway? If T-Mobile wants to reach us they can send an email or text to our cell phones. Does anyone know how to stop SMS going to our Gateway devices?104Visto0likes2ComentariosSingle Phone Number of Multiple Phone Line account not receiving Text Messages
iPhone 11 not receiving short text messages from T-Mobile to a single phone number "XYZ" Several lines on the T-Mobile account - iPhone 11, iPhone 10 and iPhone 7. All other phone numbers have no issues to date. The phone number is not on the government no-caller list. Desire is Not to Port this Phone number to a different carrier. Issue is not device related. Issue is not SIM card related. To verify not a phone or SIM card issue with a really solid T-Mobile representative; performed the following: Performed factory resets on all phones. Swapped SIM cards between phones. When other SIM cards (associated with other numbers) were in each phone; short messages appeared with no problem. This was tested with both Wi-Fi on and Wi-Fi off. Software is up to date on all phones. The issue appears to be associated with a single phone number "XYZ" Bought a new SIM card. Activated that SIM card with the single phone number "XYZ". Tested the new SIM card in all three iPhones. The card recognizes network. The card allows phone calls. Short messages are STILL not being received. T-Mobile states that they have "pending" status on all short messages including those from T-Mobile on their backend server for the specific phone number. The T-Mobile error message states 'Device' issues. T-Mobile is stating that the device is for some reason not receiving the messages. T-Mobile representative acknowledged by all the actions taken with swapping SIMs, re-setting phones, activating a new SIM that this is NOT a device issue. This in spite of the error message on their backend server. Again, this is associated with a single phone number. T-Mobile representative suggested half-heartedly that I "port" my number to another carrier. Said their hands were tied and that yes, the engineering ticket has been updated and they must wait for engineers to respond. Each callextends response time for fixing to another 3 day Honestly at a total loss here. I've tried all the suggestions in T-Mobile feeds and Apple feeds, and performed numerous test cases both with T-Mobile representative and without. All documented with the representative for the engineers. Again, this is associated with a single phone number. Anything else to try?90Visto0likes1Comentario
