My son cracked the screen on his watch. The watch information says it has a factory installed, user replaceable screen protector built in. How do I remove and replace this screen protector?115Visto0likes1ComentarioHow to Change Admin E-mail of Sync Up Watch
Hello, Does anyone know how to change which e-mail is the "admin" for a sync up watch? I used one e-mail account when I got the watch but it doesn't match the e-mail address for my T-Mobile account so now the watch does not show up in the T Life app since the Sync Up Kids app doesn't work anymore. I also cannot change my e-mail for the main TMO account since my other e-mail is already tied to another t-mobile ID (even thought I cannot even login it this account on t-mobile.com anymore since there are no phone numbers tied to it). Any suggestions? Customer care is not helpful beyond telling me to reset the watch but I don't see why this would change the admin e-mail (and if so that is very poor security if that is all that takes). Also this will remove all of the contacts from the watch obviously. My wife is still able to see the watch info in T-Life app since I added her a parent before the Sync Up kids app stopped working and this would also cause her access to go away too apparently. ¡Gracias!50Visto0likes0ComentariosSyncUP kids watch group text
Is there a way to set up a group text on the SyncUP kids watch? I tried setting up a group chat for me, my son & his dad and he's getting the messages, but they didn't start their own conversation. Instead, they are going to our individual text threads which makes the conversation very confusing. Please help! Thank you!524Visto0likes2ComentariosSyncUp Kids Watch Hacked?
I received a text message from who I thought to be my 8 year old son. He has a SyncUp smart watch with limited contacts. The message stated "Dad, I need Help!" Along with this message came a Google location map of my son's location (our home). The suspicious text came in around 11pm local time. My son was asleep and his watch was in another room. I checked and the watch does not show an outgoing text message to me. Wondering if the SyncUp smart watch was possiblyhacked and someone is tracking my child's location and sending messages on his behalf. Has anyone experienced this issue? ¡Gracias!925Visto0likes5ComentariosSyncUp Kids stuck at loading screen
I purchased 5 SyncUp Kids watches for Christmas this year. Kids love them, but yesterday I had a second watch get stuck not getting past the loading screen. I'm not sure what led up to it, but the symptoms seem to appear out of nowhere. The watch doesn't respond to anything. The only thing you can do is hold the button for 20secs or so and it will buzz and hard-reset, then get to the loading screen and sequence the three pink dots on the bottom indefinitely. When the first watch did this I called 611. They seemed very unfamiliar with this product, and appear to have limited ability to troubleshoot anything. Apparently the only way to factory reset these watches is through the settings menu in the interface and in this case it can't get there. They had me go into a store and do a defect exchange (At first they wanted to charge me $5 to file manufacturer warranty and give me a refurbished watch, I refused and insisted on another option. Who charges $5 for a manufacturing defect?) Yesterday the second, of five, watches has the same symptoms as before. Stuck at the loading screen, the only thing I can do that gets any response is hard-reset by holding on the button. Having two of these cases now, within 2 months of new, I can't imagine I am unique but I can't find any record of people having issues, so I am here, trying to find solutions, and share my experience. Question 1- Is there a hidden way to factory reset these watches without accessing the settings menu? If not, why?! Question 2- Are other people having these same issues? Are my kids doing something to their watches they shouldn't be doing? What might it be? Both times this happened it was overnight, we know because that is when they go offline. I suspect my kids are grabbing them off their chargers to play with them at night, but I can't think of anything they could do to their watch in their beds that would cause them to bug-out.Solved16KViews2likes34Comentarios
