Taxes & fees are up from 10% to 20% for no reason
I have a legacy prepaid plan (Gold Member). When I added minutes to my account in Oct'24, the taxes & fees were 10%. Today, Nov 03 '24, or two weeks later,taxes & feesarealready ~20%. Literally, nothing changedwith my plan - so why taxes & fees went so drastically up for no reason?
Activation and Taxes based on Credit Limit?
There is currently a deal on the website that says iphone15 "on us" when you upgrade or already have a go5g plus plan and a trade-in device. However, when I tried to do the upgrade online, it's showing a $650 down payment. When I asked customer service about this, I was told that "the charge is based on taxes and activation fees and my credit limit is low, so my down paymentis higher." Online it says the activation fee is $35, and the sales tax for this phone in my state would only be about $56, for a total of about $100-ish. I brought this to the attention of customer service and was told that mine is different because of my credit. But if the phone is free, why is there a down payment involved? I should only be paying the fee and taxes, not for the phone itself. I tried to keep asking questions but was told that they already explained it to me in detail and that is the basic Tmobile policy. I asked for them to send me the link to the policy or email it to me, but I got no response. Has anyone else experienced this? I am VERY confused why tax and an activation fee would be based on my credit limit.

Hi, I have Essential plan with T-Mobile. My billing address is from NJ and I might need to move to California in some time. So, I am wondering what are the total taxes and fees in California state? Hi everyone, I find personal/business money management software that directly links to my tax software essential, so I use intuit products, for better or worse. I need my T-mo Money account to be able to sync with Intuit products, and see a bunch of threads about how it used to sync, but then was blocked by T-Mo. Mostof us won't use a bunch of different money management software accounts tied to individual accounts, so a lot of us use Intuit products that aggregate our accounts and connect directly to our tax prep applications. Please let us connect our accounts again! It makes having a T-mobile account without this connection inconvenient, enough so that I consider using a different product. I really like T-mo, but that won't keep me using it if it doesn't play nice with the most commonly used financial managementand tax software. I know a lot of online banks want to compete and offer financial management through their sites. My bank tries to do that, too, but I ignore it. There's no way I will use an individual bank account's financial mgmt software over one that directly links all my accounts allowing me to manage everything together and send all that datato my tax prep app. I prefer one app to rule them all, frankly. Don't have time to muck about with individual bank software. Anyone else find this lack of connectivity inconvenient or annoying? If so, please post about it! It might help T-mo change their mind. Older posts about this have comments closed or are marked solved when the problem still exists. In the meantime, I'm going to contact Customers Bank and see if they have a workaround since T-Mo Money runs on their system. I hope others do the same. If T-mo won't help us, maybe Customer's Bank can?
Taxes and fees hike and T-Mobile freaking tax fraud
Recently, T-Mobile is crazy to increased its so called "T-MOBILE FEES & CHARGES". the same item "Recovery Fee" not only chargeon the account level , also, duplicated the charges on each individuallines multiple time. "T-MOBILE FEES & CHARGES" now it is over 50% of total. it is time to file complains to FCC
