Ever since I have used T-Mobile internet, my gaming has been mediocre at best as far as connection. My ping on Rocket league at times ranges from a standard 68-300+. I cannot even get into any games on Battlefield 2042, as it times out. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is frustrating because I can sometimes play (with terrible ping) but when I join a friend's party it kicks me out of the game. I even hosted the match and tried logging into a game, and we were both kicked. these are just a few of the issues I've noticed while gaming. there are times when the internet just goes out, I am on my second device. My connection to the network is great, but the internet connectivity drops more often than it should. Recently the tower near me was upgraded which helped for downloading, but competitive gaming is still a struggle? Is this something that will be fixed or will I need to switch over to a trusty Fiber connection. I like the price I am paying for T-Mobile, but at the end of the day, it's more of a hassle. I'm basically paying for something that I can't depend on. I have multiple games in my library that are now collecting dust because they barely function if they work at all when joining my friends online, thank you.Solved21KViews0likes7ComentariosUPnP not successful on Xbox Series S
Ever since I switched to the BYOD-Router internet gateway I haven't been able to stay in party chats. Everything else works perfectly fine no connectivity issues on my laptop, phone, or TVs but as soon as I join an Xbox live party it's fine for a couple seconds then I lose connection. Game chat works fine. My NAT is moderate but it used to be open. Also my xbox is saying UPnP not successful. I logged into my router but there doesn't seem to be anyconfigurable network settings. Anyone know how to enable UPnP?18KViews0likes21ComentariosQuestion about TMHI and xbox series x and PS5
Not sure if anyone really knows a fix or what's going on I've read a lot of stuff about CGNAT and how Tmobile home internet doesn't let you port forward and so when you are out of your house that has the tmo router/modem you can't remote play with either PS5 or XBSX but I've read things that Tmobile is working on it? Is this true? I own a wifi 6e router but I put it in ap mode because I heard that Tmobile, the I think the sagecom fast it's the black one with the little screen, router doesn't like the router being in router modem but I was wondering if there was any way possible to play my PS5/series x, say when I go to my parents house. Is this still not a thing with tmo home internet. I was hoping by now it would be as I get good speeds at my house I just want to be able to access my PS5 from my parents house. Is there anyway I can get this to work without paying money for a VPN service?1KViews0likes1ComentarioTmobile 5g home internet + Xbox Series X not compatible
Thanks to T-Mobile's Test Drive, I can try out the home internet for 15days. I'm getting good speeds and so far so good… I was really happy with the service until……… It's not compatible with my Xbox Series X. Apps like YouTube, Twitch, Hulu all work. But if I want to play games online, that's where it doesnt work. I get disconnected from the games respective servers. Doing a test on the network I get UPnP unavailable. I can retest until the UPnP is available but as soon as I start playing a game online, it disconnects. I see that I can attempt to connect a wireless router but I cannot control any settings on the App or if I log into router via a web browser. The only thing I can do is change names and passwords, but nothing else. Can a wireless router be connected to the gateway? If so, which brands will work best? There are other posts about this issue but no answer. I hope there is a solution or else the home internet goes back to T-Mobile and they will lose out on $50/month.18KViews2likes23ComentariosTMHI and xbox Series x/ps5

Can anyone from Tmobile provide details on when or if Tmobile is actually planning on fixing their well known incompatibility issues with gaming consoles such as Xbox Series X? A clear answer is all we folks need to decide if we keep this internet service or not.…620Visto3likes1ComentarioXbox 360 acadyan gateway issue. trying to set up a router using ethernet, still no luck
