Re: 5G Home Internet Suddenly Very Unstable And Technical Support Is Essentially Useless
I had just posted in another forum. "TMO has absolutely oversoldtheir home Internet. My service was great for 1 year- slower speeds than Cox, however, the connection was very stable. Over the past 3 months we have ZERO internet from 5 pm until about 10 pm. Called tech support,, the matter was escalated and they are going to call me back. A Supervisor even called me because I am a 20 year customer. What are they going to do -- it is either add more towers or remove customers! My family members have demanded we go back to Cox. SuperBowl is coming up and themen in my house are not happy so15 minutes ago I recommended Cox and am just reconfiguring a few things.. I wonder what will happen with TMO. If you think about almost every new initiative they undertake ends because of issues on their end --TV, their original prepaid card, their TV portal, their box. their home router for calls etc --the list goes on and on. I work from home and cannot deal withInternet that does not work. The pricing is great which is what attracted me and for just about a year it was good and now went back to Cox and got a good deal. I took the price comparable> The option.I used to have the Ultimate and if anything good came out of this I now know that the slower speeds of 100 down work just fine. I never got anything over 25 with TMO and when it worked it was fine. My prediction for TMO moving forward -- heavy throttling and new pricing options with data caps"13Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Network Congestion

Hello @unspecified I have a very similar set up. I went in and set the pass thru and ran tests. Then I went back in and kept it with pass thru. For DNS settings I disabled connect automatically and used googles 2001:4860:4860:8888 and for the second one 8844 as the last 4. When I tested with tmobile site it says not connected to ipv6. When I connect tohttps://ipv6-test.com/it shows a 17 of 20 an Id says that it fallsback to IPV4 in less than 1 second When I connect tohttps://test-ipv6.com/it shows 10 of 10 This is with my computer plugged in via ethernet to asus 68 router which is plugged in as router mode to tmobile Arcadyan KVD21' When I run tests from chromebook which is connected to wifi --ipv6 tests fail And I can longer get to the community from computer and have to use chromebook to get to this page. I have no idea why13Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G Home Internet: IPV6 with Asus RT-AC68U
@unspecified. Thanks. I have the Arcayan too and I have the wifi turned off as well and have the 68U connected via a Cat 5Cable. I tried pass thru and it did not work. I am going to try again and will let you know what happens with mine.14Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How to use High-Speed Internet Gateway with Existing Router
I have an ASUS mesh system using Merlin and Ihave manything configured so I wantedto use router mode and not bridge mode. My main router is downstairs, the mesh node is upstairs and is hardwired to the main oneI unplugged the ethernet from the cable modem and plugged in in to the T-Mobile Arcadyan KVD21. The speeds are the same if I use the router or plug directly in to the ethernet on the router. With cox I rec'd speeds of about 160 even though I was paying for gigabit. With TMO40-60 and the speed varies however the connection appears to be more stable and I Am hopeful that the speeds will continue to increase.I have a ton of stuff connected and there is nobuffering. I did lower my MTU which was recommended by others and that helped. For $25 a month I am going to give ti a change. I am not a gamer3Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Tablets that can be used like a phone
I had a separate digits line data only as one of the posters mentioned and i ended up converting that to another straight line fo the same pice and gave it to a member of my family.. I stillwanted to use my tablet as a phone so here is what I ended up doing. I purchased an iPad and I purchased unlimited data with it. Onthe IPad I downloaded the tmobile digits app. I purchased a pair of wireless ear buds. My cell phone with the SIM is home and turned off and i use the ipad to make and receive calls. I do have some issues with text - I can text anyone --I do not receive all texts paricularly short codes.6Visto0likes0Comentarios
