switching from old LG to old Samsung...
My LG G7Thinq is dying. I got my wife a new S22 and I am going to take over her S8. I like having the SD card slot and HP jack as I am a music junkie. I know I can move the SIM card over. Can I use Smart Switch to mover over the apps and data or do it thru Google Restore. I have read different articles but none that seem to address exactly what i want to do and exactly how sequentially? I am not totally clueless but I dont want to lose stuff either and in the past I just let the store guys handle it...107Visto0likes2ComentariosRe: LG G7 CHARGING PORT MOSITURE
I just started having the same issue about a month ago. Sometimes it shows others no. I can charge it wirelessly or turn it off which for some reason works. It is on Android 9 and I doubt I will ever see any updates. I am thinking it might be time to change phones. Sad because I love this phones sound and it has been good for 4 years or so.15Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Switching
I dont know if this will still apply or not. I switched over about 4-5 years ago from Verizon. I was told when shopping that my LG phone from Verizon would be eligible for being paid off at that time as well as my wifes Samsung phone. Once i signed up the sales rep told me that the LG phone was not eligible...he had made a mistake. I asked to talk to the store manager and told him what happened and that that inducement was why I switched. He asked what i wanted him to do. I told him he wanted to help me because otherwise I was going to create lots of problems for them with my law degree and it was going to cost more than the phone credit. He agreed this made sense and agreed to credit my monthly bill for $100 each month for the 4 months it would take to equalize my payoff for the phone at Verizon. I found the store manager had way more flexibility to act than the sales rep and was as a live human more responsive. I might try going into the store you switched at or one near you and ask for the manager and explain the issues. It may get you farther than going online….or maybe not but it might be worth the time to you.22Visto0likes0Comentarios
