Re: Wifi extenders
drnewcomb wrote: You want to use as few extenders as possible. Every one slows your network down. I'm in the middle of a free two week trial with T-Mobile Gateway. Things seem to be going well, but I'm thinking about hooking up Netgear's Orbi Mesh Extenders. I have outdoor screened-in lights, ceiling fan and a garage door camera that needs to be on the 2.4GHz. I'm thinking I may need something that strengthens the signal. But after reading your comment I'm confused. Mesh extenders slow the WiFi connection?17Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: MyQ (Chamberlain) garage door and Gateway 5G router not compatible

I had high hopes of switching over from xfinity to T-Mobile Gateway as streaming and surfing the internet was no different in quality. However, I'm trying to now connect MyQ, Ring and LOCKLY and they're not compatible. Is there anything in the near future T-Mobile is planning to allow for these security devices? If not, T-Mobile Gateway is a nonstarter for me.31Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: MyQ (Chamberlain) garage door and Gateway 5G router not compatible
I'm currently doing a two week free trial. In regards to streaming and surfing the internet I have noticed much difference between T-Mobile and xfinity. I thought I found a more affordable alternative and then I attempted to have MyQ, Ring and LOCKLY attached to the WiFi. T-Mobile doesn't support them. Looks like I'm returning the T-Mobile Gateway and once again stuck with xfinity.13Visto0likes0Comentarios
