wifi extenders
Does anyone know if WiFi Extenders or a Mesh helps with increasing speeds so we can stream Dolby Vision movies? Or do they slow the speed down?
Using the Speedtest app on your phone, with the phone connected to your Wi-Fi, measure the download speed near the gateway and also near the TV. If there is a big difference, then you might improve your situation with an extender or a mesh system. OR you might be able to find another location for your gateway that is closer to your TV - it might need to be a bit of a compromise. Of course you have to consider the rest of your home also.
