Re: Why are we being penalized suddenly for paying with a credit card?
tien900 wrote: I have been on autopay (using my credit card) for ages, which gives a $5 discount. I was just informed today -- and only because I called T-Mobile, I might add; I never got a notice about this -- that in order to qualify for the discount moving forward I have to use a debit card or connect my bank account. It was bizarre, because the rep on the phone kept assuring me over and over that my information was EXTREMELY safe with T-Mobile. I told her I don't care, I want to use my credit card like I always have. It just irritates me that I'm suddenly being penalized for this out of the blue. Well,I switched to T Mobile home internet from Comcast, because I did not like the way they handled the data breach. So,I can understand persons not trusting companies with their personal information.10Visto1like0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile ID
MajorRathbone wrote: tomwil, thanks for the link. Unfortunately, the information provided there is a link to a Sign-in page, which is where I started originally, and have been trying numerous times over the past four weeks. The Sign-up page linked in HeavenM's message requests first and last name, email, and password. When Iclick the"Create T-Mobile ID" button, the next screen that pops up is the "Link your phone number to your T-Mobile account." If Iput in a non-T-Mobile phone number, the error message is that Ineed to put in a T-Mobile phone number. When I put in the phone number onthe 5G internet gateway (modem), the error message is that my email is not recognized. Yet, T-Mobile has sent more than a dozen messages to my email, including an email message on May 12 that my "T-Mobile IDis officially ready to use." _____________ It is a never-ending maze of dead ends. If anyone knows the answer, please provide some insights. I have telephoned T-Mobile customer service numerous times; although the customer service people are friendly and courteous, they have been unable to assist. Same thing happened to me.4Visto1like0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile ID
Glittery wrote: @MajorRathbone I am having the exact same experience you described. Stuck at verifying my phone number, which I am unsure if I am supposed to include the phone number associated with my T-Mobile 5G home internet, or if I am supposed to include my real mobile phone number, which I have through a different carrier. Either way, no number that I enter works. I was able to create security questions when signing up to participate in this forum. Hopefully they fix this soon. bgrngod wrote: I'm having this exact same problem. It's been going on for about 9 months or so? I was able to create a "community" login so I can post here in the forums, but accessing my account is completely blocked. It's really kind of nuts the phone number you are required to enter seems like it MUST be a t-mobile phone number. It's specifically asking for a number to use to send a confirmation text to. Yes,why can they not send a confirmation text to a non tmobile phone number?6Visto1like0ComentariosRe: How do you get ID without a T-Mobile phone number (for Home Internet)
I like the home internet. However, the whole not being able to log into their website without a tmobile phone number is ridiculous.I gave up.Going to have to find another way to make my payments. You should not need a tmobile number to log in.No solution.4Visto1like0Comentarios
