Re: Any Solution to the Printer connection problems with T-Mobile Gateways?
Jbuntin wrote: I did all of this, but my devices cannot see the printer even when it is connected to the Gateway. oddly i have my printers on the 2nd network, and I can see them from the other SSID. Sounds like something else is off, its all on the same network regardless of SSID or frequency..4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Any Solution to the Printer connection problems with T-Mobile Gateways?
The only option right now is to create 2 networks, one for the printers, one for the other devices.. you cna hide the network for the printers too (which is what i did), so really there is only 1 network, 2.4 and 5G and all items connect..4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Any Solution to the Printer connection problems with T-Mobile Gateways?
Same issue for me, i am an IT wizard and both Brother Color LAser and a separate scanner, both very new and current machines, would connect, work for a few hours, then just stop working. They still show connected but no communication on the network. Removing them and adding again, no solution. I created a new SSID, LameNetwork, assigned it to 2.4GHZ and WPA2 and AES, and hidden, and both machiens connected to it and are working again. Im going to see if they keep working for a few days. There seems to be some firmware issues with the printers and the communication standard with this new Gateway, TMobile still has somethings to figure out. I will message Mike the CEO and let him know (we talk once and a while about stuff), but he needs to know his tech team needs to get his right if they want to compete as a solid home solution.. Will report back if these printers stay connected, its like they work for 3 hours, then just STOP, when using the dual band SSID and such.. the solution above worked for the time being, hoping it sticks, will report back.10Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Arcadyan KVD21 5G which connectors for 5G external antenna
The good thing is you can connect the pig tails and then just swap the SMA’s so you dont have to install anything but once.. I have to look up the technical specs to see which connection is for what frequency. 2x2 is what i need, cause no one makes a small 4x4 that i can find, or am i wrong? the issue i see is a 4x4 is a price to pay, so lowest cost 4x4 for the home is 150USD https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B8MZSCF5/ Unless someone else has something better.4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Arcadyan KVD21 5G which connectors for 5G external antenna
i am working on putting a 2x2 antenna on my gateway, pretty technical and an EE. My 4/5G small antenna has sma labels MAIN and AUX on them, which ones do these go to on the D and M connectors? Amazon has some low costs options for those in condo's and homes without the need for a roof mounted system, literally like 25 bucks for the pigtail connectors and antenna. This is the (2 pack) pigtails:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G57DD33 This is a 4G but not sure if it works with 5G, will test:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K143JS5/ This is a omni 4G/5G:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9J2MHTB/ Let me know if anyone can help me with the connection labels.
