Re: DNS provider for Home Internet
Thank you. Most of us expect standard feature set with consumer grade equipment ... and as customers we I feel we all do expect this. My honest opinion … Suggesting or considering customersto go out and pick-up networking equipment, because of the lack of standard networking features, is not a great customer experience. I believe most of us are wanting toeliminate the tyranny of the boxes as much as possible. Personally, I don't want my living-room, or any of my rooms for that matter, looking like a corporate LAN switching roomwith networking gear, boxes, cables, and blinky lights everwhere. But I thank you and respect your opinion. TMO can for sure do better when it comes to this and I expect they will. Thank you again.7Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: DNS provider for Home Internet
Ok. I think we and most of us on some of these ‘DNS threads’ may disagree with you on the importance of standard DNS and consumer grade router functions as the rest of the industry delivers on their hardware.Just wonder why TMO product made such a big miss - Your not a TMO Product Manager are you?8Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: DNS provider for Home Internet

At present, no, there is no way to change DNS via app or web interface in the TMO gateway routers. Wow! That is like a standard option on all routers and internet gateways since the early 90's …I am curious why Tmobile choosenot include this option so thatconsumers have the abilityuse the DNS of their own choosing on theTmobile Internet Gateway? Seems like a fairly obvious miss from a product perspective …VERY odd wouldn't you agree?8Visto1like0Comentarios
