T-Mobile Home Internet app no longer lists connected devices
I have the T-Mobile's Nokia ("trash can") unit, and after the last device firmware update, the T-Mobile Home Internet app no longer shows the list of devices connected to the network. Firmware version: 1.2103.00.0338 App version: 2.6.22.6KViews3likes10ComentariosRe: Vax mandate
Good luck taking your business to a company that shares your views. AT&T requires its unionized employees to be vaccinated: https://about.att.com/story/2021/att_covid_19_vaccine.html Verizon requires its non-union employees to be vaccinated: https://www.fiercewireless.com/operators/verizon-requires-covid-vaccines-for-non-union-employees If anything, T-Mobile actually resisted vaccine mandates, until now.4Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: My experience with the new T-Mobile Home Internet (NOK5G21)
It's almost the end of March 2021, and the Nokia gateway still has the problems mentioned above. You can add me to the list of people affected by these issues at some point in time. I really wish I had the time to configure the SSID bands to make it work optimally with my home network, but the lack of gooddocumentation is appalling. If the web UI exposes these settings to the customer, it could at least provide some information as to what the settings are or do, but nope. Whenever I have contacted tech support for assistance with the router, I end up with little or no help at all. I believe T-Mobile should get out of the home routing business and just provide a simple gateway to their POP. Let advanced users configure their own LAN and shape their own traffic, and partner with router manufacturers to provide support tothe rest of their ISP users.4Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile High-Speed Internet Gateway-Gray

I have a lot of devices with fixed addresses on 192.168.0.xxx subnet. So now only the Dynamic IP units work (sort of) Is there any way to change the IP address on the Grey tube so I don't have to go to a lot of trouble resetting everything? The subnet in the Nokia "air purifier" model is fixed to 192.168.12.X, and there is no UI available to change it. So yes, it looks like you'll have to reset the IP address in a lot of devices.7Visto1like0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile High-Speed Internet Gateway-Gray
@ThevdoguyYou cannot change the DNS settings on the Nokia gateway. They're fixed to T-Mobile's DNS servers. You can change the DNS servers in use by your desktop/laptop. Refer to your operating system's instructions to do it. If you have a phone with Android 9 or newer, you can switch to "Private DNS" in your Network settings.9Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Internet Gateway DHCP/DNS Address Settings
First of all, make sure IPv6 in all your devices. T-Mobile uses an IPv6-only network, and this is the preferred way to connect to sites that are IPv6-enabled. This includes most public sites like FB, Google, etc. Let the computer do IPv6 autoconfiguration. You can switch your computer's DNS to OpenDNS, but do make sure that you use OpenDNS' servers for both IPv4 and IPv6. The instructions on their website should tell you how to do it. I use Cloudflare's DNS service for all my desktop computers and I haven't had any issues. Hope this helps!21Visto1like0Comentarios
