Re: Home Internet Gaming Connection Issue
What console are you using? With my Xbox One S the NAT shows moderate but I'm not getting timeout issues when playing. I'm using the KDV21 gateway and connected directly to my desktop and also have a CAT5E cable running from it to a network switch. My devices such as the Xbox, 3D Blueray, Android TV box and Steam Link are connected to the switch.9Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Renton, Wa. area
Used ‘SG TCP Optimizer’ to test latency and after running a couple instances using ‘Optimal setting’ the following are the results: Pinging [68.67.73.20] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=116ms TTL=42 Pinging [68.67.73.20] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=149ms TTL=42 Pinging [68.67.73.20] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=147ms TTL=42 Pinging [109.105.110.44] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=192ms TTL=42 Pinging [109.105.110.44] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=194ms TTL=42 Pinging [109.105.110.44] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=201ms TTL=42 Pinging [104.247.81.71] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=545ms TTL=45 Pinging [104.247.81.71] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [104.247.81.71] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=118ms TTL=45 Pinging [172.217.164.100] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=40ms TTL=113 Pinging [172.217.164.100] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=44ms TTL=113 Pinging [172.217.164.100] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=43ms TTL=113 Pinging [52.11.45.250] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [52.11.45.250] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [52.11.45.250] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [23.207.74.13] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=50ms TTL=48 Pinging [23.207.74.13] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=48 Pinging [23.207.74.13] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=51ms TTL=48 Ping statistics for above hosts: Packets: Sent = 18, Received = 14, Lost = 4 (22% loss) Approximate round trip times (RTT) in milli-seconds: Minimum = 40ms, Maximum = 545ms, Average = 107ms Pinging [68.67.73.20] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=114ms TTL=42 Pinging [68.67.73.20] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=135ms TTL=42 Pinging [68.67.73.20] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=115ms TTL=42 Pinging [109.105.110.44] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=193ms TTL=42 Pinging [109.105.110.44] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=192ms TTL=42 Pinging [109.105.110.44] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=191ms TTL=42 Pinging [104.247.81.71] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [104.247.81.71] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=112ms TTL=45 Pinging [104.247.81.71] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=159ms TTL=45 Pinging [142.251.46.228] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=44ms TTL=113 Pinging [142.251.46.228] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=47ms TTL=113 Pinging [142.251.46.228] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=46ms TTL=113 Pinging [34.209.167.56] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [52.11.45.250] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [34.209.167.56] with 32 bytes ->Request Timed Out Pinging [23.207.74.13] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=39ms TTL=48 Pinging [23.207.74.13] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=48 Pinging [23.207.74.13] with 32 bytes ->bytes=32 time=44ms TTL=48 Ping statistics for above hosts: Packets: Sent = 18, Received = 14, Lost = 4 (22% loss) Approximate round trip times (RTT) in milli-seconds: Minimum = 39ms, Maximum = 193ms, Average = 82ms4Visto0likes0ComentariosRenton, Wa. area
Anyone confirm if they are having inconsistent 5G speed issues? Normally I'll see 3XX.XX+ down and as much as 6X.XX+up The last couple days or so it's been inconsistent… As low as 3.XX down/17.XXup on March 1st. Right now seeing 13X.XX - 2XX.XX down and 16.XX - 4X.XX up. Using the KDV21 gateway and have unplugged and rest a couple of times in the last 24hrs.132Visto0likes1ComentarioSlow speed 5G
Internet speed is real slow now with the 5G. Any service issues going on in Renton Highland area (Wa.) Normal speed for me is 3XX-4XX down and ~100up but now it is… 7.XX down and 21.XXup I've power cycled the gateway and no joy. I ended up connecting the printer cable to my desktop. I have the desktop connected to one of the LAN ports and the other going to my network switch (7 port) near my living room TV. I have devices such as XBoxOne, Steam Link, Blue ray, Android TV box and another CAT6 line going to sons bedroom. It has been working great. Been testing my speeds and been averaging… Download - 4XX.XX+ Mbps Upload - 5X.XX+ Mbps Ping: 22-28ms My old ISP (Centurylink) plan was 100Mbps down/10Mbps up3Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Battery backup KDV21
