Promo Code says expired but I just received it today
I received confirmation that I could order the Amazon Echo Show and to use the provided promotion code. I went to the link, but and pasted the promo code but Amazon says "this code has expired" I just got it! Suggestions?SolvedNC_MtsHace 3 añosNewbie Caller2.4KViews8likes59ComentariosHome internet service IPv6 traffic is all filtered even when using a Netgear LTE router. No port forwarding. Plz fix!
My background is in IT / networking and I started using Tmo Home Internet for the past 2 weeks. The router being shipped today to customers is missing very important features for power users - it actually broke my ability to remotely access my home via direct-connection using public IPv6 and IPv4 that I used on comcast. Contacting support for help is pretty much useless, although I have raised a few tickets regarding the major issues affecting me since switching ISPs, namely: Unable to ping my IPv6 WAN address given by T-mobile (to remotely monitor my internet connection) Unable to remotely access my home via my VPN server which listens to connections on the WAN IPv6 address (again, T-mobile is filtering ALL my incoming traffic - comcast, att fiber, other major players in the market don't do this filtering to endpoints except for spam port 25) Connecting to a VPN server hosted on the internet is unreliable and unstable. T-mobile does not offer IPv6 Prefix Delegation (comcast has it, att fiber does too) I've spent the majority of my time trying to figure out ways to make this work. Most folks out there are blaming the Nokia router firmware which is really locked down by T-mobile, so being the IT engineer I pretend to be I purchased a Netgear LAX20 which is T-mobile and AT&T certified - I swapped SIMs for my Home internet service and tested both. Even with a router that I fully control, with firewall disabled and allowing WAN icmp/ping responses T-mobile seems to continue to filter traffic (even pings!) incoming towards my service equipment…to make a fair comparison I got an AT&T SIM card and repeated the tests. On AT&T I can ping and access my device remotely when it is on the AT&T LTE network on the same Netgear LAX20. Decided to post here to vent and share some findings, as this is somewhat frustrating that other LTE carriers that do not offer 'home internet' service do allow you to control and manage your network as you see fit while the new "home internet" service does not give you any control at all. Those users who wish to be able to remotely manage their smart home should perhaps stay away for now until T-mobile decides to do the right thing which is for "home internet" service subscribers to have different security network rules than cellphones on the network. T-mobile please fix your business model for this new service, starting with adding the ability to request zero network filtering for home internet subscribers and the ability to get IPv6 prefix delegated.22KViews51likes57Comentarioshas anyone else been scammed by T-Mobile?
Hello, fellow T-Mobile customers. I am merely writing this with the hope that someone atT-Mobile will read it and FINALLY, after SEVENmonths of headaches, fix and properly bill me. In December of 2022 I turned in my iPhone XR in exchange for the iPhone 14 and added a line because T-Mobile was running an $800 off the new phone promo. I handed my phone over to an associate in the store. Well, we are coming up on July 2023 and every monthI have to waste my time fighting to have my bill corrected because every month T-Mobile does not apply the promo (bill credits.) Every month whomever helps me promises that they have updated and fixed the error, but the next month it is the same old story. At some point I was told that they never received my trade-in, which is absurd because it was not lost in the mail or something. I handed it over in the store! So, did the associate pocket my trade-in??I was told they would investigate and follow up with me. I never received a follow-up, and then I was incorrectly billed again. Nobody at T-Mobile will provide a point of contact, someone who I can communicate with so that I do not have to spend an hour+ every month explaining the problem againwith someone new. It is terrible service. I have been more than patient. This is ridiculous. I would NEVER ever ever recommend T-Mobile to anyone based on this experience. I feel stuck because if I cancel my service with T-Mobilethen they will say that I still owe the balance of the iPhone 14. I am happy to pay the small amount that I might actually owe at this point, but they mightsay I am working off the full cost of a new phone, vs the $300 that it should be because of the promo. T-Mobile, please fix my account! Please bill me properly! At this point I feel that you have stolen my iPhone XR and are ripping me off/trying to steal more from me by not honoring the promo.beeflyHace 2 añosNewbie Caller9.8KViews29likes47ComentariosHome Internet not eligible for Emergency Broadband Benefit
So I went through the application process and got approved but now T-mobile is telling me that my home internet is not eligible for the benefit. What gives? Why have it on the page advertising it if their plan does not qualify? What does someone need to do to qualify? They are advertising that they are a part of this yet no one is having success in setting it up.SolvedlullaHace 4 añosRoaming Rookie7.6KViews6likes26ComentariosT-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
I switched to T-Mobile Internet over 3 months ago. The $200 Pre-paid Mastercard within 10 weeks was an incentive that led to me making this choice. It has been 12 weeks and I have not heard a thing. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am preparing to switch back to my previous provider if this is how they treat customers.9.4KViews13likes25ComentariosIncrease in Price for 55+ ($50/mo for 1 line)
Got a text message stating $5 increase/mo. Called rep. Was told "due to inflation..." I asked why because when I was told when I signed up in 10/2018 it was for life. "Sorry about that. See our terms and conditions on the website." I said I wanted the terms and conditions from 2018. I asked for a copy of my contract that I signed. "We don't have access to that." (What??) I have filed a complaint with the FCC also. This is infuriating.HarobedHace 6 mesesNewbie Caller2.8KViews11likes24ComentariosA LOT of T-Mobile ID issues as a Home Internet customer
I've been dealing with this for several hours now, so forgive the rant… It seems that T-Mobile has no concept of Home Internet users not having a T-Mobile phone. I don't know why that is so hard to understand. However, if you only have Home Internet, and not phone, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a working T-Mobile ID. The form to create one will tell you your email is wrong when it's not. In the forums I found a message saying to just create a forum account then link your phone number, so I tried that and when I log in it won't let me do anything without linking my phone number, but entering my phone number gives me a Service Unavailable error. So, I used the online support chat to try to get this resolved. The first person was completely clueless and told me I had to call customer service. Not sure what the point of the online chat is if they're just going to tell you to call. So then I call, sit on hold for a VERY long time, and then hung up. For some reason, when you call the Home Internet support line, it doesn't give you any indication of how long the wait will be. Then I remembered there was a url texted the router for me to pay the bill, so I went there, tried to log in, and got an error about wires being crossed. Back to online support chat where I was asked to log in. I told the guy I can't log in, which is the reason I'm contacting support, and he told me to login, so then I just terminated that chat. The people they have in their online support must be the same as AT&T because they are completely incompetent. Ok, fine, so I'll see if I can pay as a guest. Nope! I put in the phone number, confirm the same phone number, hit submit, and the "confirm phone number" box turns red, but with no message, and the phone numbers match exactly. Next, I tried calling just the regular support line and was told it was going to be a 45 minute wait to get anyone on the phone. So at this point I can't really log in, other than to the forums, I can't set up auto pay for the $5 discount, and I can't pay my bill. Awesome job T-Mobile!mrobrianHace 3 añosRoaming Rookie9.2KViews14likes24ComentariosTerms of Service pilicy Change and Fines against customers
BREAKING: @TMobile has quietly updated their TOS to include fines for content they don't agree with. Beginning on January 1, 2024, they will be fining users who commit perceived violations on their bandwidth. Who knew in America that the phone providers would now be policing the content of your text messages to fine you. S.H.A.F.T. is an acronym that stands for Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, and Tobacco. It outlines the categories of text messages specifically regulated due to moral and legal issues and is monitored and enforced by the Cellular Telephone Industries Association (CTIA) and the mobile carriers. Who gets to determine what is and isn't "hateful"? Will political text messages be censored now as well going into 2024? This is what @comcast did to me in 2019/2020 when I ran for Congress. I warned people that it would happen to others when nobody did anything to stop this when it happened to me as a congressional candidate! Nice TOS date change! Just in time for the GOP primary and 2024 presidential election! Nothing to see here!RWCHace 11 mesesNewbie Caller168KViews7likes24ComentariosUPnP not successful on Xbox Series S
Ever since I switched to the BYOD-Router internet gateway I haven't been able to stay in party chats. Everything else works perfectly fine no connectivity issues on my laptop, phone, or TVs but as soon as I join an Xbox live party it's fine for a couple seconds then I lose connection. Game chat works fine. My NAT is moderate but it used to be open. Also my xbox is saying UPnP not successful. I logged into my router but there doesn't seem to be anyconfigurable network settings. Anyone know how to enable UPnP?18KViews0likes21Comentarios
