Can I "temporarily" turn off & on my children's phone lines
I'm so confused about this, I've done so much research, both here and I've tried calling Tmobile and I haven't been able to figure this out. I'd like to be able to turn my children's phone lines off and on temporarily (all services, data, text, phone calls - all of it) as a consequence/punishment, and then be able to "turn it back on" when I decide to. When I look on the website about "suspending a line", it says you can only do this twice a year. I have actually called Tmobile and had them do it once in the past, but after reading that on the website, I don't know if I can only do it 1 more time (or if I'll be charged at some point for this). I'd like to be able to just do it myself if that's an option. When I called Tmobile just now, the person I reached didn't know anything about this and although they were trying to research it, they ultimately could not help me with this issue.

I'm wondering if you ever found out if this was possible? I've wanted to do the same thing to my 2 teenage sons, but wasn't sure if I could.

You can do this from your Mytmobile account under the line.

You can temporarily suspend the line but as the original poster mentioned - you can only do it 2x a year. I wish there were other options 😕

oh well...thats very sad…..i used to be ATT customer for couple of years and that was a very common thing to do in the app...not many parents use it so i think its a great asset for the app and us as customers….i have no idea how much it costs for them as a huge company to be able to do this but with technology so advanced im assuming its not a big deal…
im bery sad i cant do it. i just changed and suspening service for my teens when deserved was a big deal and it worked wonders for me as a single mom.
hopefully this changes soon!!

AngieKZ what FIREGUY meant to say maam is that unfortunately we CAN NOT REALLY DO IT for the purpose we want.
SADLY and unfortunately TMOBILE only let us suspend TEMPORARILY 2 times a year and it says some costs might appy...IT SUCKS…
ATT has that FEATURE that it helps us parents a lot. I just switched from att to tmobile family ,
HOPEFULLY one day TMOBILE can add it up!! ITS A TREMENDOUS PARENTING NEW ERA TOOL.. #facts
