Digits can't answer or make calls.
Digits line can do SMS receive and send. But, received phone calls cannot be answered and can't make a call. Get message that I must add microphone and phone to preferences. ALL preferences are turned on!

Digits needs most permissions to function properly. Depending on your device, there could be a few things to try. Android 12 and 13 like to put apps to sleep. If this happens, your incoming texts will be delayed, and calls will not come through. Sometimes clearing the app data and cache, then uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app, and giving it all of the permissions it asks for on the first run can fix the issue. What device are you using? If you are using Digits on a PC. You must have the mic setup correctly in Windows so it is identified in the Device Manager or in Bluetooth devices.

Is the device set in the power saving mode? In that mode, screen off suspends a lot of apps from doing anything until the user turns the screen back on. Under Settings, search for Battery. There are a bunch of options in there that can impact apps working properly.
