Google One (with unlimited photos) add-on: do existing photos count towards quota?
Hopefully yes (and I’m about to try anyway - posting here to help the next person): Do existing photos on the primary subscriber’s Google Photos account continue to count towards the 2GB Google One quota, or do they count towards the unlimited portion?
For example: We are nearly at the 2TB quota on Google One with a normal/non-T-mobile subscription. Over 1TB of that are Google Photos. We are hoping that 1TB of quota will free up after subscribing with T-Mobiles exclusive unlimited photos deal. I will post an update with the answer.
I followed the instructions closely (https://www.t-mobile.com/support/plans-features/google-one) and the answer is: yes. The existing Google Photos usage on the primary Google One account frees up once enrolled via TMobile!
