Help device unlock over 2 weeks waiting.
Over 2 weeks ago I wanted to unlock my phone. I attempted to do so via phone itself device unlock. It told me I needed to payoff my phone. I did so and tryed again but it gave error to reboot my phone and try again. I did so but still same error. I waiting about a week and kept trying daily but still same error. I called in last Friday and support told me that its unlocked and that they will send the signal again and to try again in 24 to 72 hours. I tried after 72 hours and every day since and still same issue. I called again today and was told exact same thing. My flight is coming up in a week and I need this phone unlocked to use international sims in it. HELP.

What device is it? Has the device beemnactive on the T-Mobile USA network for a minimum of 40 days? Paying off the phone isn't the only requirement to qualify for a SIM unlock.

Motorola edge 2022 I have had the phone for almost a year. I switch phones weekly but it has been used at least 3 months for sure.

Have you tried clearing the cache and data of the SIM Unlock app, then rebooting your device, and trying the app for a permanent SIM unlock again?

there is no app. its built into settings device unlock option. I have factory reset the phone 2 times with no luck.

Is your active T-Mobile SIM still in the device and connected to the T-Mobile USA network, not roaming?

Is the device rooted and or is the bootloader unlocked? That can sometimes interfere with the ability to SIM unlock it.

Bootloadere was unlocked. I have since relocked it. Never rooted.

You might need to reflash the full firmware to ensure that the system wasn't compromised or corrupted in some way if the SIM unlock doesn't work still. Unlocking the bootloader breaks a lot more things than it used to. RCS does not work on rooted or devices with an unlocked bootloader as an example.

I did not flash with anything. I just got Motorola device unlock code from Motorola and made sure it worked. I did not flash anything into unit. I did not try to root or install anything. I did try factory reset 2 times already.
