International Pass - Japan
Will be traveling from US to visit Japan with my partner. Planning to purchase the T-Mobile International 5GB Pass. Has anyone had experience with this service in Japan? Also, our phones are on one account. Do we need to purchase 2 passes or will 1 pass work for both phones?nola520 minutes agoNetwork Novice50Views0likes1CommentExcessive Bill Charge for Overseas
T-mobile is refusing to remove an excessive charge. I traveled to Djibouti in December, while getting to the airport I was trying to get my luggage and not paying attention to my text messages. I made a phone call to let my family members know I was ok and hanged up. From the time that I was waiting for my luggage and providing information to the local security it was maybe about 20-30 minutes. I attempted to call the hotel but there was no ringtone. When I checked my text messages I got a message saying that they were charging me 800 dollars for data roaming so I immediately turned it off. During my whole trip I was not using my data roaming and when I got back to the US I called T-mobile because they cut off my cellular service. While speaking to the representative on the phone I asked her about the bill and she said that everything was fine there was no additional charges and she restored my service. A month later I check my bill and the balance is 1,465.71! I was surprised to see that ridiculous amount on my phone bill and called customer service. The representative told me that she would put in a request to get the balance removed due to me not knowing that this country was not on their list of approved international plan. The lady provided me with some tips and informed me of a pass I could purchase prior to traveling. I travel for work and have never had any issues with service therefore I was clueless to all of this. Today I contacted T-mobile again because I have not hear anything back. After 40 minutes on the chat with a representative, they informed me that T-mobile is refusing to remove the charges because they sent a text message. This made me realize that T-mobile DOES NOT care about their customers and all they care is about the money they can make out of them. I am very disappointed and will be changing phone companies. I am only sharing my experience so others can be aware and do not make the same mistake I did.cithlali23 minutes agoNetwork Novice67Views0likes1CommentOfficial Samsung Galaxy S25 series preorder thread
2 MIN READ The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has been unveiled, bringing a host of cutting-edge features. One of the most notable enhancements is the Galaxy AI integration. The Personal Data Engine, protected by Samsung Knox Vault, allows AI computing and functionality right on your phone without relying on the cloud. Keeping the data local means you get a deeply personalized experience while ensuring robust security. AI on the Galaxy S25 series offers a lot of really cool new capabilities for capturing pictures and videos, getting healthy, staying productive and so much more. Did you see the Now Brief feature? I love the idea of having a snapshot of the things that I need already put together and presented to me when I wake up instead of having to remember to check different apps like my calendar, the weather, and my texts. I hate when I’m playing a game or trying to get things done on my phone and it starts getting warm and uncomfortable to hold. Samsung’s Heat Dissipation Architecture works to efficiently disperse the heat from inside the Galaxy S25 series phones, ensuring the device stays cool when it’s at its busiest. We all like a phone that helps us get through the day with more ease or fun, but Samsung also recognizes the need for sustainability. They use eight key recycled materials including recycled cobalt which makes up about 50% of their batteries. There is so much to say about the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. So I came as a new customer. I originally started everything with customer care over the phone. I explained to the rep that with Verizon I could get any new device and only pay the taxes up front. I was also told that I would pay 120$ for 3 lines. I received everything with the rep on the phone prior to hanging up just to confirm everything. And he agreed and confirmed. this was Saturday Monday comes around I get the SIM cards in the mail which I did not need. I called customer care to complete the transition. About 15 mins into the conversation the first customer care rep stated and I quote “I’m so focused on having my tea then going to bed, I will connect you to customer support.” And there I was connected to someone else. The second person couldn’t help me which then connected me to a third person. The third person had me to restart 2 phones. When I turned it back on I had no service and she stated she couldn’t help me. When I asked how to get service on my phones she then said “you’ll have to wait til tomorrow. This was after being on the phone for 2 hrs for absolutely nothing. I went to a store nearby to get my devices up and running. When I went to a store to pick up the watch, they asked for a down payment. Something I was never made aware of as I was told I’d get the same services as I did at Verizon and all I would need to do is pay taxes. I called and spoke to numerous people and none of them could justify as to why I was misinformed TMobile customer care team are nothing but fraudsters and scammers. They will tell you anything and everything to get you to switch but once the switch is made they screw you over. This company sucks. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone as they are a team of thieves and will rob you! I am completely disgusted with them. And not one could explain why I was lied toJAmaral13 hours agoVisitor18Views0likes0CommentsOculus Suddenly not Connecting
We’ve had T-Mobile home internet for lamps two years. We’ve had zero issues and it has worked wonderfully on everything we have - TVs, Ps5, Xbox, iPads, phones, all that stuff. We’ve also have two oculus systems that have worked perfectly with the internet. All of a sudden about 3-4 weeks ago, my son’s oculus will no longer stay connected. It connects for 1-2 seconds, then disconnects and tries to reconnect repeatedly. Every other device is my home works fine. My son’s friend brought his oculus to our house and he had the exact same issue my son does. My son’s oculus connected and works perfectly to my phone’s hotspot. This seems like it has to be something within the connection of the internet and the oculus devices. I have tried every troubleshooting thing I can and NOTHING is working. I can find nothing that gives me any options to change IP or really adjust anything within the T-Mobile internet app. PLEEEEEASE help me. This is beyond frustrating for him (and me!!) and there has to be something that changed within one of the devices to start this.karifox13 hours agoVisitor12Views0likes0CommentsAnyone fed-up with horrible coverage from TMobile
This is a Description of our Complaint with T-Mobile and the BBB: For the past almost 3 years we have had all of our family cell phone lines with T-Mobile. We switched over from Verizon about 3 years ago because we responded to a promotion offered by T-Mobile whereby offered much better coverage at much better prices. Turns out that their marketing in advertising campaign was misleading and inaccurate at best. From day one, the coverage and reception was below any basic level of acceptance causing phone calls in messages to drop or fail at a rate off three failed for one success. After a few months, I complained with T-Mobile, they profusely apologized and told us to be patient because they were in the process of rolling out their new 5G Network and also merging their Network with sprints, and they said that the coverage and service issues will greatly improve in a matter of weeks or a couple of months at the most. When this didn't happen, I called to request a transfer of service and they insisted that it was just a matter of time for their coverage and service to noticeably improve and they offer a nominal remporary discount to keep us from switching over. As expected, the coverage and service not only did not improve but got worse. After another 12 months have gone by and everyone in our household having being fed up with dropped calls failed messages in lack of connectivity, we have decided to switch over to another carrier. When I call T-Mobile to inquire about the process, they told me that we're free to switch over but they're going to charge us retractively rebates and fees that they have waived because we're not meeting the term of our contract. And my question to them what kind of compensation do we get for the 3 years of failing to provide the most basic service that we have been faithfully paying in full for almost 3 years. We'll know that these are tactics that these types of companies use to hold people hostage regardless of whether they are the ones at fault in causing you to leave. This should be unacceptable!Greatride16 hours agoNewbie Caller35KViews60likes100Comments
