How do I terminate my T-mobile contract?
Hej,
I am leaving the US and want to terminate my T-mobile contract and give up my US mobile phone number.
The website dopes not give me any clue on how to do that….. which is quite unexpected.
Can anyone help me with this question?
Many thanks!

I never by my phone directly through T-Mobile. But I did buy one in December of 2022. It was giving me problems from the very beginning. People would not be able to call me, my son spent an hour on the phone with T-Mobile and he had my phone with him and they could not call that phone. They finally admitted they could not fix it so they gave me a new, excuse me refurbished, phone. This is doing the same exact thing. I wanted to buy out my contract but they will not let me. I'm willing to pay what I owe for the phone and forget about the money that they pay me every month from my contract. But they say absolutely not. This was my first contract with a cell phone and it's absolutely horrendous. Everyone I talk to has a different answer. I sent a letter to the CEO of T-Mobile and the woman that called gave me a bunch of fake reasons. I often have a problem when I try to touch any of the numbers. As my finger comes near to the phone the phone turns black. I pulled back my finger and it's everything is there again. But each time I try to push a number the phone turns black. This lady told me it was because my camera is on. According to my son there is no way my camera is always on and even if it was that would not be causing the problem. Twice it has been suggested I try a different carrier but I can't do that because they won't let me out of my contract. I am at my wits end trying to deal with this phone.

It depends on which contract you're asking about. All T-Mobile service contracts are month-to-month, so you just let them know you don't want to continue. T-Mobile does not prorate partial months on cancellations, so make the effective date at the end of your billing month.
If you have an EIP contract, that will need to be paid off. You should also request any T-Mobile devices be unlocked, so you can use them with a local SIM in your new country.

You need to call TMobile to cancel your contract .
