how to block no caller ID calls
How do I block phone calls that have no caller ID? Meaning there are no phone numbers associated with the call.
On iPhone: Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers > On
The phone doesn't ring if the number is not saved in my Contacts. The calls aren't blocked; they go straight to voice mail. Nuisance callers never leave VM messages. 😃
Also get T-Mobile's Scam Shield which should be available for most phones / T-Mobile plans. It claims to "automatically block scam calls for you." It's hard to tell how effective it is.
If you have an Android Device, Google has their Scam Guard thing and Samsung has Bixby to help with unidentified calls. There is no way to just outright block any call that doesn't have a name or number associated with it though.
