Pay off phone
Ok so I decided I want to pay off my phone early, will it affect anything as far as the contract that I signed with T-mobile? Just don't want any surprises.
Customer Care or the T-Force Team would be able to answer that for you. This is primarily a peer help forum for customers to seek help from other T-Mobile customers with some slight moderation by T-Mobile.
There are a couple.of different ways those EIP's work. One where you can pay off the device but still keep get the remaining bill credits for the rest of the term as long as you continue to meet the requirements. Then you have the EIP that requires the device to be on a payment plan for the full 24 months to receive all of the credits. Any amount over the monthly payment paid early will eliminate some of the credits you were eligible for. Paying it off early would fully stop those credits.
