T-Mobile still lying to customers

We switched our family (4 lines) over to T-Mobile and were given a page with a promotional code by the rep in the store to use to receive a $200 prepaid card per line. This was supposed to pay off the remaining balance on my wife's phone. I submitted the code for each line and all 4 were denied because we were "outside of the promotional period". There are no dates on the paper given to me and the rep clearly told me we were eligible.

This is the same reason I quit Sprint many years ago. Clearly T-Mobile is only interested in signing customers, not keeping them.

  • New customer and already have huge problems with them. I'm so disgusted being lied to from people in customer service. Was sent a free phone that worked for only a week. They mailed me a second phone which was a damn disaster. I had to go to the T-Mobile store after spending hours on the phone. Eventually the store changed the SIM card because the electronic SIM wasn't working. I was told what my monthly bill would be. When I received the bill it was double the amount. Im about to report them to the BBB. I ordered wifi  and decided to use them as my provider because their price was much cheaper than my previous provider. A MONTH INTO SIGNING UP WITH T-MOBILE WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. HAS ANYONE REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB? People in customer service have absolutely no idea what they're doing!! They lie so much!! I got recordings of them also when I had no phone service I had to use chat so I've got enough proof that they are FRAUDS!!! T-MOBILE HAS NO CLUE WHO THEY'RE DEALING WITH!!

    I was transferred over to the 55+ plan about a year and a half ago. At that time I was offered the plan and told nothing would change a far as my plan and service the only thing that would change would be a cheaper bill. All lies. For the past year and½ I have called pretty much every month. Not only did they not transfer the my phone(only my husbands) and in turn send me to collections but they ended my husbands promotion that he was on for trading in his phone initially. None of this was told to me when I switched. I did get mine transferred to the new account, they made me open the account in my husbands name to get the 55+ deal. So now my bill is $171.00 each month for 2 lines. No extras except insurance. They continue to charge me for his phone even though each month I call they tell me that they will pull the old promotion back and remove the charge . I spend 3 to 4 hours on the phone with them. Every month. 171.00 for 2 lines is robbery and every time I call I tell them to read thru the extensive notes on both accounts going back 2½years and some do and some do not and lie to me about not being able to see the old account or lie to me about the phone never being on a promotion at all...I tell them once again the ridiculous amount of time I have spent and the payoffs I received throughout my contract starting 2 weeks after I opened the account with them for the blatant lies we were told. I get no where most of the time But some times they say they have fixed everything and after another 4 hour call I hang up hopefull only to receive another $171.00 bill the next month and call in only to have them deny any thing being fixed/ changed at all the previous month. I have asked for thier recorded transcripts only to be told its against company policy. I'm at my wits end. They now want over $700 to buy out the phone when I traded in my old phone so do I get the old phone back then? No! They are crooks. I don't know what to do but I am ineffective now when I call bc I'm so fed up I start off being a rude. The customer service people all suck...they basically just want to no...try to upset and prove you wrong instead of helping in any way. I think they get thier jollies from it bc there is no other reason for their blatant disrespect and disregard for the truth. I am going to reach out to the FCC at this point bc I don't know what else to do.
