Whenever my wife would ask to go on a cruise, I'd ask. "How much overtime are they paying?" When my brother got me a spot on a deep-sea fishing trip on a friend's boat, he reminded me to bring "deck shoes". I thought he meant oil proof, skid resistant safety boots. I went bare-footed that trip and bought some Topsiders when I got home.
