Value of trade-in iphone XR 128GB with cracked back glass

I went to t-mobile store to switch our 3 phone lines from ATT. One of the phones we want to trade in is fine except for cracked back glass.
When I check online with the tool, It does not ask about cracked back glass. - But when I asked the person in the store, he said he could not guarantee it will be credited and that tmobile takes the phone and will not return it, and they may give me less for the back glass crack. Like only $200 or something!!
My situation is that we have had a (terrible expensive) plan with assurion (costs us about $50/month) for the last 3 years since we have upgraded any phones - one claim in 3 years… - I can put in a claim with them to get the back glass repaired, but even with our “insurance” it will cost $200!!
I have now been on hold with t-mobile for an hour to try to get an answer from them…
The rep keeps checking back every 15 minutes. This should be a simple question to answer.
With this kind of lack of service, I’m wondering if I should forget T-mobile and just switch to Verizon?
Its a simple question, IF I HAVE AN IPHONE XR 128 WITH ONLY DAMAGE BEING CRACKED BACK GLASS WHAT IS THE CURRENT PROMOTIONAL TRADE-IN VALUE?

No. I ended up going with Verizon - T-mobile service in my neighbor hood was spotty.
And i got the glass repaired by a local shop for $140 then traded in with Verizon. it turned out that I probably would not have had to fix it v/ them.
