will t-mobile honor their own ad?
In several places t-mobile states that the new go5g plus cost $150 for three lines. It doesn't state anywhere that it is a promotion only (which doesn't make sense.. is the 3rd line free forever if you add it but not if you change plans? The info is on the t-mobile website. However they are quoting me 185 for 3 lines. To make matters worse, I have been a customer for over 10 years and just last week added a third line to my mag max plan. I was told that if I had waited 7 days I could get that line free!. Something doesn't smell right here. After over 11 years I'm looking for another carrier.

The $50 a line for 3 lines totaling $150 a month is a promotional rate from my understanding. It will eventually end and the cost will be $60 a line totaling $180 a month for anyone who adds it after the promotion ends. Forever, no! Things change, plans change, grandfathered plans get retired, etc. For the foreseeable future, the free line would be free, if eligible, through a bill credit each month.

- The whole point of the new plan is to give existing customers the same deals as new customers.
- It isn’t even clear that this is only a promotion.
- This is all marketing mush. No real substance

I also feel punished for being a loyal T-Mobile customer for 10 years. If I move 4 lines from a different family plan that has 10 lines currently, I am told that I will not only lose ALL discounts and benefits, etc… from the old plan, but I am not eligible for any promotions, such as the free line on the new Go5G plus plan. It feels like if they're going to not let me take advantage of new promotions, they should at least let me keep my old promotions… Time to hop to somebody else for a few months, so I can come back as a new customer, to whom they give all the good deals.

Nowhere has there been a article or promotional thing said about plans. Only devices.

Not true - see the graphic I posted above. This is clearly about plans - 3rd line free. Just not for me.

In context the same deals for new and existing customers is specifically to DEVICES, and not plans. Watch all the videos and read the announcements, and every time they say new and existing customers it's always about devices.
