Issue with Porting to T-Mobile from AT&T
Recently, on last Wednesday, I ported my number from AT&T to T-Mobile, but I am now unable to receive calls or send text messages. I contacted T-Mobile's service center, and they informed me that my number is still under port protection and advised me to request AT&T to remove it. However, when I contacted AT&T, they mentioned they couldn't assist since I'm unable to receive text messages.
Could you please advise me on what steps I should take to resolve this issue?
Gracias
Visit your local AT&T store and have them remove it from your account there. T-Mobile can't request that AT&T remove the port protection. The request has to be made to AT&T by the customer porting out.

Go on AT&T website and request to unlock your device. Do that with all phone numbers. Once its approved they will send an email with a code or instructions on how to unlock your phone.. You will want to restart your device then it will ask for the unlock code. Once you do that it should start working.

Hi, I am currently facing an issue with port protection after porting my number to T-Mobile de AT&T. I am unable to remove the port protection, which is preventing me from receiving calls and sending text messages. This is not related to mobile unlocking, but specifically to the port protection removal. Could you please assist with resolving this issue?
