Weird test message notification from app this AM
Hi! This AM I received two weird test messages from the TMobile app. The first read "test" for the subject then "test' for the message. On an old device, I saw a second test message come in as well - same subject and text but also had a little blue folder with black up arrow inside it.
Is this happening to anyone else?

I didn't get that message but have recently received 2 flash messages ( not text) saying carrier services has disconnected my phone. After the second message I called T-Mobile on the 611 and explained this to them as I am on auto pay and asked what was going on? They didn't have a clue, imagine that.

For those who got this message, did you recently upgrade to a newer phone? (Sounds like one other person above had...) It's possible the message was sent to those who did upgrades to newly released phones (e.g. Samsung S22 line...) This might make sense as I turned on my tablet earlier and did no get a notification. Only from my S22 and the phone being returned that I was about to reset.
no, no recent upgrade here

On March 7th, some Android users reported receiving a "test" message from T-Mobile Diagnostics. This message was delivered by accident and will not affect the device. We apologize for any inconvenience and, if you haven't already, feel free to dismiss the message.

There is another thread with the subject "Random T-Mobile diagnostics message of test". I had the message this morning also.

Same thing happened to me this morning. It was 2 notifications that each said "test" one of which was a secure folder requesting a pin. Super weirded out. But I'm sure there is a logical and hopefully harmless reason for it. Last week there were 2 system updates that got pushed through and I did both.

Happened to me. 2 messages. 1 test message. The next with the upload file icon on it. Looks like it either uploaded or downloaded something. The upload icon is more likely to be telling the initiator the file was uploaded, than telling the phone user something was uploaded when the user shouldn't, apparently, be seeing it.

I just posted the same thing….had 2 notifications and one said "test". Sounds like many are getting this same thing.
