new refurb Iphone 12 pro from ebay reseller
Just Reseller tells me no sim card included even tho its tmobile locked. Call BS or not? I have the iphone 8 it would seem I need a new sim card for 5g. Reseller tells me no problem go to the store and have them put one in. Store closed near me and so went to Bestbuy, phone guy shrugs his shoulders (no surprise there) and says maybe…. go to the tmobile store ask them. Hey I just want all the stuff from my old phone on my new phone and be able to make calls wth do I know.
T-Mobile have been cheaping out with including the SIM cards with iPhones over the past while. Whether or not that extends to all devices, I don't know. Unless your SIM is more than a few years old, it should work with 5G. Getting a new SIM though, isn't a bad thing.
It's probably because the iPhone has esim capabilities.
You don’t necesitar a new SIM for 5G. It works better with a new SIM but it will function with an older one. The newer R15 or TM9263 SIMs are needed for 5G SA and some more advanced features. ITMT your existing nano-SIM should work fine.
