T-Mo App gets stuck in a loop
The app prompts for my TMo-ID & Password; i enter the info and click log in. From there it gets stuck in a loop of showing "processing" and then a screen with just a spinning pink circle. It will sit for 15-30 minutes looping back and fourth between those two screens before finally just timing-out and having to start over.
For the last 1&½ months I have been bounced between departments to never get an answer. I have factory restored, re-installed the app, reset my TMo-ID info, iPhone is up to date… Nothing else to try, APP does NOT function. Nobody seems to have any interest in figuring out what is wrong.

When the app does this to me I force stop it then open and it works for me.

I am having the same issue with my iPhone as well. Phone number and user id result in the same behavior. Cleared cache and reinstalled the application.

I have the exact same issue but on a Motorola Edge phone running Android 11.

Same issue for me. I had downloaded the app for s21ultra and it was stuck in a loop, it did the same thing on my iPad and today I got my s24 ultra and it's still doing it. The iPad eventually worked but will still do the loop most of the time. . Super strange sounds like an app issue not user error.

Is this with the T Life app or the T-Mobile app, or both? I would be curious if it is happening with one and you have not tried the other yet, does it happen with both apps or just the one of them? If one of the other works and you can do what you need to do with the one that wors, that would be a workaround. If the T Life app works, the good news is (or so I've read) it will eventually replace the T-Mobile app.
I would have thought deleting the app and reinstalling it is likely to work, but @toolage y @westergardja say that didn’t work. So, some other ideas:
Are you using a VPN? If so, try turning off the VPN to see if that is the issue. If the VPN is the issue and you want to keep the VPN on, try a different connection location.
Are you on wi-fi when this happens? What if you turn off wif-fi and use the mobile network?
Is your OS up to date?

Now that you mention it, I have a vague memory of doing the same sometime back. Hope OP will post an update. This is definitely the simplest and therefore first thing to try before getting more complicated.
By the way, I did check both T Life and T-Mobile apps earlier this morning before original reply, and both opened and logged in with Face ID without issue.
