Why are we being penailzed for paying with a credit card?
T-Mobile already took away the $5 discount that I had for auto-pay, and now will add a $10 penalty if I do not give them a debit card or bank account!!! This is daylight robbery and I am very disappointed in these tactics. I have been with T-mobile since 2006, now I will probably have to change providers. The $10 increase is more than any credit card company charges fees for processing a transaction. Really T-Mobile???

so which other carrier are you going to jump to? ATT still does a promo for auto pay using a CC..V does not..and neither does TMO now..through V you must use either your debit card/bank info or their own CC card for V..not your own.

T-Mobile AutoPay discount
Providing T_Mobile direct access to either one's debit card or bank account creates greater risk for the customer. In the case with T-Mobile, it has previously been proven your system is hackable. You leave no other choice than to find another carrier. I will switch the carrier but would not allow you to get access to my Debit card or bank account.

Tmobile is putting my price up by $15 unless I change autopay. I receive phone insurance and points for paying through the credit card so this represents a significant price increase. I am very unimpressed at this serious breach of my trust.

T-Mobile’s change was timed perfectly with a problem on my bill.
Calling for support and being routed to one off shore agent after another that could not help me sealed the deal. While I was going to just pay the $10. I will now be switching carriers.

From what I've read on multiple post is that there's a growing problem of cc charges being reported as fraud. Whether that's true, I don't know but in today's world anything is possible.
Like I said I'm not switching.

I need to change my cc number on auto pay

I live abroad, so our situations are not the same at all….
I just don’t understand why T-Mobile would SUGGEST a practice that is much
less safe to it's customers? Seems a bad message to push.

They're not forcing me to switch, I'm still going to pay with a cc and not get the discount.

These are the LEAST secure methods, offering no protections at all?
Why would you force this switch?
Why would you expect me to accept it?

V doesnt kick out any auto pay discount for CCs either..debit card, bank info or their own Verizon CC...but not your own CC...
