Is 2 bars too slow for this to be used? I have moved the device all over the house even went outside. No more than 2 bars.
I have 2 bars on mine and get speeds from 35mg to 85mg depending on the time of day. You need to check you signal under Overview. Also check what bands you are on under Status.
I am having the same issue let me know if you find any resolution
I am having the same issue. I feel the need to change back to the other "shady wired companies". Is there a solution or is it time to switch back ?
Two things that help. One is the sides are where the antennas are so one side needs to be pointed at the tower. A rotation as little ½ " can make a huge difference. If you are not plugging the gateway in when moving it you can't get a true speed test on battery.
