can't use ssh connections when i'm using the hotspot
whenever i connect my laptop to my phone’s mobile hotspot, i can never get these to work:
- ssh connection to my AWS environment
- running apt-get update / yum updates on my Ubuntu distro embedded in my Windows 10 laptop
- installing anything via Mac Terminal on my Macbook Pro, such as RVM / NVM / wget calls / telnet calls, etc
- the most common error i get in all the above use-cases is some variant of a “Network is unreachable” error message
anyone else run into this issue? These issues defeat the point of paying for mobile hotspot since i have to be able to actually work using the hotspot : )
I don’t know about general ssh, but from my machines on my network, I can’t get to AWS EC2 instances using ssh at all.
