Hotspot device disconnecting from T-mo internet
Recently purchased a T-mobile branded 5G hotspot, Model D53. Gets consistent 5g signal but it loses its ability to connect / relay internet traffic after about 30 - 40 minutes. Then I have to restart the device to get it to begin allowing network connections again.
So far I've reset the SIM card, reset the device to factory, both with no changes in the functionality. Anyone seen similar issues and resolved them?

Correction - after testing again today, it still disconnects continuously. absolute garbage, maybe useful for browsing text only sites, lul

SOLUTION (for me): disabled 5g internet connectivity. Hotspot hasn't disconnected 1 time since. 5g is trash anyways.

Hotspot completely unreliable. Close account and trash or RMA device.

Same happens to me. I suspect throttling strategy on T-Mobile side.
