mobile data dropping while hotspot is active

So this has been happening the past 3 days. Whenever I turn my hotspot on my cellular data drops and I cant use the phone or the hotspot. Its becoming increasingly frustrating since ive been wanting to play on my pc with my friends and talk to them on discord.

    I have had similar issues with my phone hotspot. Not exactly the same, but I can tell you what's "worked" for me. It's a work around at the moment, and I'm trying to determine a permanent solution.

    For me, my phone hotspot doesn't work with the standard T-Mobile APN. I had to create my own. The following works for everything, but I can't send group MMS. It's weird.

     

    Configuraciones del APN para Android

    1. Abre Nombres de puntos de acceso Abre los Nombres de puntos de acceso menu.
      1. En Configuración, look under Móvil y redes or tap the Conexiones pestaña.
      2. Presiona Red móvil. You may need to touch Más configuraciones, Más..., o Más redes primero.
      3. Presiona Nombres de puntos de acceso.
    2. Presiona el APN de T-Mobile si está disponible. If not, press the Menú key and touch new APN.
    3. Verifica y actualiza las siguientes configuraciones para el APN de datos.
      • Nombre: T-Mobile
      • APN: Fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices) or epc.tmobile.com (for non-LTE devices)
      • Proxy: <Not set>
      • Puerto: <Not set>
      • Nombre de usuario: <Not set>
      • Contraseña: <Not set>
      • Servidor: <Not set>
      • MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
      • Proxy MSM: <Not set>
      • Puerto MSM: <Not set>
      • MMS protocol: WAP 2.0 (If available)
      • MCC: 310
      • MNC: 260
      • Tipo de autenticación: <Not set>
      • APN Type: default,supl,mms 
      • APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
      • APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
      • Turn APN on/off: Grayed out unless there are multiple APNs
      • Bearer: Unspecified
