shady refund practices
So, internet account was closed (by me) and there was a refund on my billing for that month. According to the statement,it is scheduled to be credited to my checking account (all bills autopaid via that account) 2 months after I canceled service. 7 days after the credit was scheduled to be posted, still nothing in the bank. I called and was sent to another representative who then gave me another phone # to call.
That new phone number was to a credit card service!! My refund is NOT put back into the account it was taken from, instead it is sent to me in the form of a gift card-which I didn't ask for-I wanted that money put directly back into the bank it came from.
And, it takes 7-10 days from processing (a week AFTER the credit was due) to even send it out and another week to possibly receive it!
T mobile sucks. I'm glad I canceled and will eagerly await that stupid card and spend it quickly and be done with all things tmobile.
They are just WRONG to do a refund this way.

Gift cards as refunds should not be an acceptable means to refund money (legal tender). Gift cards come with fees attached and are not technically 'cash' as is. I would contact your state AG or FCC on this practice.
