Terrible Cell Service Now - They Did Something to the local Tower
our cell service in Vacaville area is now gone afte many year - they did something with the local tower - after 3 weeks of trying their solutions do not work - unless you buy a new phone (our is Samusng A52 one year old) and long time customer - seems they want to upsell phones - leaving for another carrier - noticed on Consumer Reports they have almost the worst ratings /////////
why? your A52 is a 5G phone is 5G or 4G? if its 4G it’ll need VoLTE (which is should have). if were talking Vacaville Ca then its showing to be pretty covered w/5G but im also seeing a decent amount of dead spots..which im willing to bet no carrier has coverage in those same spots.
we talking all of Vacaville or just where you live?
Thank you for your response - it is an A52 with 5G - the coverage map is very spotty for either 5 or 4 in north Vacaville near North Orchard and Gibson Valley Road - they said they were “modernizing” it - actually I think during a local construction job somebody damaged some underground wires - either way it has been three weeks - have to drive away from the house to make calls - luckily have been away for two weeks and now back with the same previous problem - how many other have been affected ??
you by chance have wifi at home? if you do turn on your wifi calling and that’ll remedy calls and texts.
upgrades are a different matter..those will take roughly a month give or take dependent on what is ran into (parts or lack there of, some genius cutting through a underground line, etc).

Looks like most sites are on I-80
There is one that’s ‘new’ and almost mapped at the Orchard plaza
also aligns up with ‘bright green’ spots on cell-mapper.
Outside of that, @fireguy_6364 y @drnewcomb have the best advice.
Did this just start right after the October update, many of us are noticing little to no bars in areas where we used to get UC5G , I'm on the S22 Ultra. Started like 3 weeks ago?
