devices not eligible

So I baught a Samsung S22 Ultra on amazon.  And my sister send it to me out here in the Pacific.  But the problem is that the phone is still locked with its carrier.  I am not sure if its paid off or not.  I can't send it back but I really would appreciate if I can get any help to unlock this cell phone.

Gracias

That link will state if there's a balance on the phone if Tmobile sold the phone.

You could always take it to your local cellphone repair shop to see if they have a service you could purchase to have them SIM unlock it for.you.

I already took it to the repairs for service but they were unable to open it.  Probably because this phone still have some balance with T-mobile.  What can I do to b e eligible to unlock with t-mobile?

If the device still has a balance and you are not the original purchaser.  Return it to Amazon.

This is all based on assumption, how can you help me find out if it does have balance for sure.

No one here has account access.  This is a peer help forum for customers to get help from other customers.  No one is going to be able to check if there is a balance owed on a device because T-Mobile can't disclose information about someone else's account and device payments to anyone but the PAH or an authorized user for that account.

T-Mobile will not be able to SIM unlock that device for you.

Bought it on Amazon.  Wanted an unlocked cell but found out it was locked while setting it up.
