5G antenna question
I found this antenna, I see the TMobile gateway in the photo, but don't understand the four cable connectors. I don't see any such ports on the gateway.
How does it connect? Os there a better unit for TMobile?

@LouK you will need to open the gateway and add a few cables to it and then attach the cables to the external antenna. Here is a tutorial on it. https://www.waveform.com/a/b/guides/hotspots/t-mobile-5g-gateway-arcadyan
You might want to watch a video from Nader Tader on YouTube on how to add an antenna to a T-Mobile gateway.

Thanks for the info. Actually I would like to connect a roof top antenna as I already have 5 RG-6 and one Cat6 to the roof.
• Will that cablig support an antenna?
• Do you have any recommendations on outdoor antennas?

Q1: What improvement might I expect? I'm bottoming at about 120Mbps with peaks about 210Mbps with the gateway only. Signal strength is 3 bars. Is it worth doing this?
Q2: I'm about 1-¼ miles from the tower. I'm slightly down hill and miss seeing the tower by about 2 verical feet. Is that too much to be considered "line of sight"? Do you have to see the tower?
