So I just switched services and I'm using a t-mobile gateway, whenever i connect to any game on my pc wither it's roblox,genshin, warframe, whatever the game may be i constantly disconnect. My computer however stays connected to the internet I just instantly get disconnected from games, if I'm in a call the call will stay fine. I believe it's due to the dynamic IP address but I'm not sure does anyone have a solution or has this happened to anyone else. Looking at the hardware's documentation. I see the secondary USB-C port is actually a LAN port. Upon discovery, I immediately try to connect my laptop to the port. Telling myself, "Hey! Finally a way to free up an outlet on my power strip", but no. It is a straight up lie. Not only does the USB-C port need a power source to even "boot"/"start" (Honestly not a problem, the USB-C port on my laptop is the charge port). Upon connection, all that the port does is power cycle my laptop. I even trieda USB-C to USB-Ato see if the LAN actually works. No, no it doesn't. It literally does nothing.If you don't provide power to that USB-C LAN port, that port will not even turn on. Every single morning I have to restart my gateway for my Samsung smart tv to connect to the WiFi. My phone and everything else seems to stay connected and work but the TV won't stay connected. MLB The Show does not work on my T-mobile 5g internet box. It will say "Challenge Failed" when trying to play an online match. The game works perfectly fine when i bring my xbox to my parents house. But when i bring it back to my wifi, it doesn't work. I test the NAT type until it's open, I reset the router, etc. I've done everything I can think of and there no solution. Does anyone have this same problem? This is the only game that won't work either. This and NBA 2k brought me some issues. I just setup my 5G gateway (G4SE)and I am just very sad on the access to features it has. Well i should say a huge lack of features. I have my own gear for routing with mesh Wi-Fi that works perfectly. The huge downside is that you cant put this thing in bypass or pass threw mode. So if i do use it on my network i will get a double NAT and that sucks!!! In this world today you would think that even the cheapest gateways/modems would have bypass mode. The speed are good so far 200-280 dl 5-20 up. latency is better then my Starlink so the son would be happy for gaming. I have ArcadyanKVD21, and while I am thoroughly impressed with the speeds from the device on the T-Mobile 5G network, I am disgusted by the lack of any ability to properly manage & (more importantly)secure thisdevice. This trade between speed and security is insulting and offensive to me as a technologically adeptSecurity professional, andexacerbatedby the fact thatT-Mobile continues to fail when tasked with protecting user account PII data. The inability to perform certain key functions completely disappoints me. Below are the primary issues and concerns,which *MUST* be resolved to keep me as a customer: Cannot perform setup /administrativetasks via wired interface. Current (internal)web interface only offers a "basic" informational portal. Cannot completely disable (turn off) WiFi, (likely due to the above). What (few) administrative tasks that are available, requires:download &installation of a worthless"mobile app", which also requires the device be connected to the local WiFi network. Current administrative functions are limited to 3 tasks,changingthe:administrative password, WiFi password, orname of the WiFi SSID. T-Mobile Internet app losesany/allfunctionalitybeyond the local network. If the gateway is connected to the internet, and the device with the app is as well, then there should be no valid reason to require "local" access, especially if the next point is true… As this prevents a parental/guardianauthority from managing the device while travelingoroutside the home (at work). T-Mobile app does not permit multiple instances of the app to be logged in with the same account/credentials. Hello all, Don't know what everyone's experience is with the new Arcadyan gateway (G4AR & SE), but I just swapped out my old gateway that was power-cycling itself and got this one as a replacement. The issue I am having now is that it's stuck only on 4G. Both the display on the gateway itself and the app show purely 4G connections and nothing for 5G. So I am getting less than 20Mbps speeds when I used to get 150-200Mbps on average. The phone in the same room as the gateway is at full bars with 5G, so it shouldn't be a signal issue. But I couldn't even see anything in the app for the gateway that lets me change between 4G and 5G.
