Add external drive T-Mobile internet
I just got the T-Mobile Fast 5688W gateway and want to connect my Seagate BlackArmor WS110 external hard drive. There are 2 USB-c ports on the 5688W, one is for power and the other is for any other device. I attached my drive via USB-c and it is not recognized. If you know what I am doing wrong, please kindly advise.

I just got off the phone with May and Jake from tech-support they are taking this issue to the higher ups. I explained to them everything. But you people also have to call in to tech-support for them to be more thrilled of activating this port for drives and other uses for us customers.
Not true for the mobile 5G gateway; thje second USB-C port is usable.
That’s crazy! So the only way to add storage is using an NAS device?
I was told by Tech Support that the second USB-C is non-functional
I've been trying to do the same thing. I'd like to to Time Machine backups. Have you had any luck?
