Is it possible to change settings regarding cloud VPN services? Be it firewall or otherwise.
I work from home part-time and use a provided router that automatically connects to a cloud VPN to access internal sites and tools. I was talking to some of our networking guys and they said that there's often issues with the 5G networks and the traffic that is allowed through them (MTU size and traffic shaping).
So I wanted to find out if it’s possible to alter the T-Mobile gateway settings for any kind of firewall that can turn off or to allow to turn off traffic shaping/allow VPN bypass.
I figure there's a strong chance I may have to contact T-Mobile tech support proper. The current app for changing the network settings doesn't seem as comprehensive/useful as going through the internal OS UI on a home router (like Asus or Netgear).

@TheColdOne I have been using T-Mobile Home Internet for just over a year. I have added an external antenna to my T-Mobile Sagemcom gateway. I have a Wi-Fi router (Netgear MR60) that is connected to the gateway that provides internet access to all connected devices.
The long story is to provide context. I have changed the MTU on the MR60 but not the gateway - it has no adjustable settings other than adding SSIDs. So, if you employer wants you to be able to change your VPN MTU, you might have success with a Wi-Fi router.
Let us know how it works out.

I can take a look, but I'm actually using a router already (one I was using prior). For this trial, I basically swapped out my cable modem with the T-Mobile gateway and all devices are going through the same Asus router that they've always been going through (which worked fine for my work's cloud VPN setup using Cable).
