New gateway coming see tmo.report
There is a description of the new gateway which will be coming soon. We can hope it works better than the "trashcan"

Don't hold your breath I think they are going to milk this unit for a while . Until we get confirmation of people really getting new units , I won't believe it!

Yeah. I tend to agree with johnbor.
My trash can had gone bad and I had to call to get the thing replaced. I mentioned to support staff that have be happy to help them test out the new version. They pretended to have no clue what I was talking about...
Either this agent had no clue or he didn't want to let on about anything he did know. At point blank asked him how about the new upgrade, he said that was news to him.
Pretty frustrating, but I honestly felt this guy was telling me the truth after I spent an hour on the phone with him.

My understanding is that T-Mobile has had a lot of issues with its gateway built by Nokia. They are very likely going to replace them with a new model. They are not ready to announce anything yet. We will see!!

Nate Tater has a video showing the FCC filing for the new gateway. I hope I can get one soon to replace this trash trash can. I've been keeping track of lost connections. The average is I have to reboot it every 2 days over 6 months. That is a problem.

The new gateway is being released on July 4th, 2022. You can call T mobile internet and get put on the list to receive it! I was put on the list 1 week ago.

How is this “new” gateway different than the current POS Arc gateway the replaced the POS Nokia gateway?

Given the age of this thread are you sure the "new" gateway isn't the Arcadyan KVD21 that started to ship in Q1 of this year? If not, where did you get the info that there is another device coming in July?

Directly from T-mobile internet.

T-Mobile released the Arc gateway within the past 6 months. It's doubtful there's another "new" gateway coming. Firmware updates will happen. Maybe that's what they are saying. Let us know which gateway appears at your door when you get it in July.
