Does Magenta Max 55+ plan operate in Puerto Rico same as at home in the mainland US?

So, I seem to come across conflicting info on web searches. ¡Sorpresa!

We will be traveling to Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks. We have Magenta Max 55+ plans that are basically unlimited everything including premium data. I chatted with am agent and the rep first said we had unlimited data "up to" 5g and unlimited text and $0.25/min calls. Later they said we had the same coverage as in the US, but should make sure to turn on roaming.

My plan details only say:

“Benefit Details

Datos y mensajes de texto en el extranjero

Stay connected with unlimited text and data at up to 256Kbps speeds in 215+ countries and destinations.”

Does T-Mobile consider Puerto Rico as "abroad" for US customers even though it is a US territory? It looks to be included on the coverage map here (https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map), but that may just be coverage-specific and not plan-specific.

En https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/international-roaming-services, it says

“A data pass not only gives you access to the highest available data speeds depending on what country or destination you're visiting, it also provides unlimited calling (as long as you are calling to or from) 215+ supported countries and destinations (including the U.S. and Puerto Rico).”

But then Puerto Rico is not listed below in the list of supported countries. This makes me think Puerto Rico is treated just as in the mainland US. Maybe my reading comprehension is poor but the "details" seem a little fuzzy.

I have also seen in conflicting informatio in Reddit forums, as well. Some say they had the same service as back home while others said that they had to buy an international data plan. So, do we need to buy an international pass to get "free calling" in, to and from Puerto Rico and the mainland US while we are there or not?

Thanks for the reply, @formercanuck. Yes, that is why the info about PR is in a gray-area (or is it grey-area for [former] Canucks as it is for our English cousins?).

PR is a territory of the US and a commonwealth. I see there is a PR specific t-mobile website. I wonder if t-mobile PR and t-mobile US are completely separate entities? There is clearly t-mobile data and voice coverage in PR, but I am trying to find out if it is included in my plan or considered international roaming that would require an international plan add-on. And confusing the fact is that PR is not listed in the list of "countries" included in the plan. The rep I chatted with earlier referenced the free roaming in Canada and Mexico. I had to laugh because that did not answer my question about plan coverage in PR.

Are you saying because PR does not show as a partner that it should be included in my plan? I get the same sort of info on the coverage map as you showed in San Juan. I wonder what the "undefined" tag means. I get that pretty much everywhere I click in PR. Por ejemplo:

    151 Calle Del Recinto Oeste
    San Juan, undefined
    5GUltra Capacity

It may not list PR in the list of ‘countries’ , as PR isn’t a country, but a territory.

Select from the coverage map a location in PR.  Eg San Juan

    152 Calle Rafael Cordero

    San Juan, undefined

5G de ultracapacidad ofrece una mejora en el rendimiento que se suma a nuestra amplia cobertura a nivel nacional.

If you were to pick somewhere in Canada/Mexico, you'd see 'Partner' coverage.  Similarly listing it as 'our' broad 'nationwide' coverage.  Ironically, 5G/5G UC is available in PR, but only roaming in Alaska.
