OTP while roaming
I am in Italy and finding most every app or website that needs user registration (local taxi/bus app, museum ticket sites etc) requires an OTP for verification. Five days in and I've yet to receive a single text which has effectively cut me off as since the pandemic most things have gone digital. I can't call T-Mobile and tge chat feature for some reason is not available. Any clues as to why I'm not getting local texts? TIA!
That's unfortunate, especially since every site specifically asks for the country code, I just assumed there wouldn't be a problem. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question!
Some services do not allow verification texts to be sent to international numbers. This is more than likely the issue.
To add, I did receive an OTP via text from T-Mobile to make this post. Just not receiving anything from a local number.
